Operation Overlords: Warlord Army

Okay, Warrior # 1 is base coated. Time to start on the real work and clean up a few areas I see I missed. So far I like the scheme, just need to get the armor a bit more sinister.

1st stages done, as is the base (except the edge of the base). Overall feeling kindah meh. work still to go on the skirt, not loving the red.

I actually think the red on the skirt looks good. Maybe darken up the armor so that it drifts more towards black? Either way, once you have a unit of them on the field together, I think you'll find they have the impact you are looking for.

Okay, 7 Warriors, 4 Spearmen, Andras & Corvus all based and primed. The production line goes into full gear tomorrow.

 

Matisse has been stripped of his old paintjob and I think he and the xbows will be the batch after this.

I have base coated the aforementioned minis red cloaks and armor. Yesterday's panting time was eaten up getting a pc mini for a new d and d campaign done. Should have more wip pics soon
