Bases in the online store

Recommended Posts

Before I place my next order could one of the Reaper people answer a question about your Battle Bases?

Are these bases the same as the ones packaged with the Warlord range? To clarify, they are the one inch, plastic bases, with the sexy raised edge on them.

Back in aught four, some of the Warlord models were packaged with regular square bases, but I'm really after the Reaper ones, as I've taken to calling them.

Any help appreciated,

Joshua

Where some times we have been forced to use other bases in an emergency, we do not put anything in our pack of 12 one inch plastic bases but our own bases with the "sexy raised edge on them." If that were to happen, someone is going to be in trouble... No chicken wings for Bryan!

Thanks Matt. I'll have to stop posting denigrating comments about you and Ed Pugh on frothers for this kindness. I still hope you can deliver a swift kick to Gus Landt and the Warlord design team for getting me and my friend hopelessly addicted to Warlord. The bases are now a must for me. I can convert a monstrous lead pile into Warlord armies, and still go broke buying more models I can't proxy!!

I remember expressing my utter hatred for square bases in Warlord Mark I, thinking I'd never convert from round base fantasy skirmish. I've never been happier with square bases than with Warlord Mark II.

Have a great night, and give Bryan some wings. I just had some myself.

Cheers.

P.S. Big Daddy Kit should be persuaded to put the tag "sexy raised edges" on the bases. I know I'm going to be the pebble starting the avalanche.

Why would you want to do that.... Frothers wouldn't be as much fun anymore! :-)

I totally haven’t looked up this character’s name. He’s great. He’s an orc. Bones 4. Blah blah blah.

Anyways, I stopped painting orc-face mc-Orc doodle the orc prematurely out of painting fatigue. I had lots of other shiny new bones to paint. It’s a great sculpt and he deserves respect though.

So let’s try this! If you’ve got improvements to suggest I’ll implement them and post a new picture. It could be fun and you’ll motivate a fellow nerd to “brush up” and turn a decent job into a great job - which is one place I could use encouragement. You can of course call it done anytime you like, but sometimes you know the figure needs more. This will be a fun exercise.

Hello forum family, slowpainter is back  this time I was a bit faster, prolly 'cause this mini was really easy to paint.
For obvious reason the palette of my choice is cold. Used various tones of blues trying to make contrast and not stay monochrome. A bit of gold and some rusty metal and she is done.

Every c&c is more than welcome, let me know if you like her :)
      Thanks

just wishing to put this out there, but what are the chances of warlord coming back, hopefully with the success of bones reaper can really hammer our full fledged army boxes. i only ask this as warlord was my very FIRST miniatures game and heck it was the first miniatures i ever bought and wish to see it again even if its just bones army sets or something. maybe even a third edition possibly.

i mean am i alone in wanting warlord back?

This is an animal companion to a kobold Ranger in a module.  The character art has it light green with dark green stripes.  A little cliche, but I don’t care.

There are two arm choices.  I went with the ones making it look like he was grabbing something.  Got him ready with white primer.

Hi everyone. Here is the fifth Orcs I painted last week. 14198, Gangorak the Reven Hero sculpted by Ben Siens. I painted it with Reaper's MSP acrylic paint and ink.
