Akela
I think his page and video say it all.
Dr.Bedlam
Kinda sounds like fun. I'm up to my ears in 28mm ships right now...
Mad Jack
Ooh... If I only had the time and money.... I just got back from OpSail 2012 this past weekend, and I'd love to have them build me a custom model of one of the locally-based tall ships. Heisler
This would be a cool one to get involved with but the last two have pretty much done in my discretionary funds.
Heisler
Well, I thought I would update this thread a bit since I did get into this kickstarter and it did deliver pretty close to on time. If you want to see what a laser cut ship looks like from the ground up here are the direct links in my blog to the projects: http://wargamesandrailroads.blogspot.com/2012/12/run-out-guns-kickstarter-un-boxing.html http://wargamesandrailroads.blogspot.com/2012/12/building-laser-dream-works-american.html http://wargamesandrailroads.blogspot.com/2012/12/the-christmas-holiday-project.html http://wargamesandrailroads.blogspot.com/2012/12/the-christmas-project-part-1-hms-frolic.html http://wargamesandrailroads.blogspot.com/2012/12/the-christmas-project-part-2-hms-frolic.html
matsumoto
Heisler..those laser-cut ships look like a serious hobby investment. let me guess: projected finish late this year?

Heisler
I'm at the rigging stage with the HMS Frolic and I want to take it a little farther along than the instructions. I have been doing a little rigging research and I'm getting to order the extra pieces needed to enhance the bit game rigging that will be going on the ships.
