Now, I don't really NEED to eat for the next few weeks, right?

I refer you to my post about the juicy crunchiness of delicious rain beetles.

Yes, but we're in a drought state. So they're more like dust beetles. Not nearly as tasty, but still....

Sounds to me like somebody's questioning The One True Word of Bones. Hast thee not heard the truth, Brother Seadragon? Hast thee not seen The Mark?

If eat dirt we must, eat dirt we shall! Quiet thy rumbling stomach! Steady thy heart! Victory!

ETA: some of these posts may make less sense than others. I'm right in the sweet zone between the first sip of coffee and when it actually kicks in enough for higher brain function.

So right now I'm like a chimp. Mostly amusing, especially on a bicycle with a cigar in people clothes, but only occassionally displaying flashes of genuine intelligence.

Thank you for your consideration and floogrebroobrergh.

Hey, but what's this frightening statement about only showing one reveal starting in a few days? You're trying to kill me, aren't you? If you just spring the new awesomeness on us like that without the time to process what it means before we're shamelessly throwing more money at it, I think my poor wittle heawt might just burst from excitement....or maybe cholesterol, but I'll still blame you guys. :;):

I hear the Word and am repentant Brother Buglips! I have a couple trees in the yard and I can eat the bark if it means success! I'd need a jackhammer for the dirt....

I'm just gonna let them sell it:

      Story
This Kickstarter campaign is intended to expand the Going Native line of models. We have a lot of new models sculpted and ready to be cast, along with scores of newly designed models that are ready to head off to the sculptors. We are doing a lot of new things with this campaign than we have done with earlier campaigns. So lets get started -

      Rise of the City States
In the Americas, as in Europe, powerful states would rise out of small chiefdoms or towns. These states were mighty cities with formidable militaries often lead by savvy and charismatic kings, queens or princes.  While we will stretch beyond this from time to time, the City States will be the main theme of this campaign.

      Physical Products
Unlike Kickstarter campaigns, all of my models and kit Physical products and not printable files. The vast majority of my models have be hand sculpted and classically cast. This campaign is very much a celebration of craftsmanship. Man sized models are planned to be spun cast in metal. The larger than man sized models will be cast in resin.

It's shiny. There's a guy riding a giant starfish. How can you go wrong with that? >.>

This is s figure that I painted during a speed painting class at Reapercon a couple years ago. I decided to go  back and clean up a couple things that I think could have been a little better. I know that's not quite the idea of speed painting, but I brought him to my tabletop standard, so I'm happy with him now.

I already finished terrain for Q2.  I had started the Strumpet.  Categories I’m working on:
      Large Group: Townsfolk Strumpet
      Large Figure: Cave Spider
Theme April Showers: Deep Dweller with an acrylic resin on part of the base to look wet.
      Pop Up: 3 townsfolk
Pop Up: Gothic Ritual: Torture equipment with blood spatter.
Seasonal: Petey for Deep Dish Pizza Day
Heavy Mod: Tree of Despair victim: want to reposition head, ropes, spread legs, gouge out middle and sculpt intestines to look like his torturers eviscerated him.
