I'm just excited how much interest this seems to be generating!

So, any hint at the hypothetical Chronoscope level?

Oh and can we get a cast of the Rhino SIlver before it goes out to the buyer? Because that would be a really fun RHino to have.

Is there a list of the Sophies that are included in the boxed set for the pledge of $110?

Based off of Ron's earlier comment, the boxed set should include:

2004: Reclining Sophie

2005: Cowgirl Sophie

2006: Bourbon Street Sophie

2007: Scifi Sophie

2008: Bomber Sophie

2009: Artist Sophie

2009: Halloween Sophie (I presume this is what Ron means when he says "both" from that year - this 2nd Sophie was from RAC in the fall)

2010: Biker Sophie

2010: Kneeling Sophie (technically not the RCon Sophie either, but she was the "Convention" Sophie for that year, is LE, and does appear on the boxed set pic)

2011: Adventure Sophie

2012: Pirate Sophie

That's 11 in all for your $110 pledge, i.e. the same (or less, in the case of recent Sophies) than what people paid for them individually at the time they were sold. The limited re-release boxed set that contained 2004-2008 retailed for $100 when it was available. It's quite the steal.

Incorporeal Undead (in clear or tinted plastic please)

I'd guess that this is probably outside the scope of the Bones kickstarter project, as the plastic that is used for them isn't clear. They'd probably have to investigate another product to make something like that happen.

While I'm on a roll someone asked about other things that could get packs like the Undead one..

We could get;

More Kobolds (there are many more than the 3 currently in the Bones pack)

More Orcs

Lizardmen (yes please)

Gnolls (yes please)

Incorporeal Undead (in clear or tinted plastic please)

Vampires & Liches (including the Vampire Spawn please)

Creepy Crawlies (assorted beetles & spiders)

Dark Elves (drider & drow - yes please)

Ogres (more ogres to go with the Chieften )

Trolls

Infernals (all the human sized demon/devil models)

Snakemen/Serpentmen (aka Yuan-ti for DnD players)

As Options

Ettins

Hill & Stone Giants

Fire & Frost Giants (the "troop" versions instead of the King & Queen/ Character model versions)

Hmm that covers everything I can think of off the top of my head :)

I'm forbidden from revealing specifics but some of your ideas are accurate. Some are not in this project. I guess that doesn't help, really, does it?

Hi all, anyone know what kind of customs duties would have to be paid on import to the UK on these items?

Unfortunately, that's all in the hands of your customs officials across the pond. So, if you bought a Vampire level and the addons, we'd have to put a value of $120 on the box and the UK Tax Man would take it from there. However...keep in mind that we're only declaring the value of what you pledged/paid and *not* the actual retail value of the items in the box. I know, it's not much of a siilver lining, but it's there. ::):

RR

Are these models shipped all at once or will they will ship on an as-manufactured basis. It would suck to have to pay taxes and duty on multiple shipments of $100+

Fortunately I was just making a list of possibilities rather than trying to guess what was on the list. :)

That said I really hope the Gnolls, Lizardmen, Serpent/Snakemen, Ettins, Ogres and generic Fire and Frost giants are on the list (even if we have to pay more for some of them).

The only reason Kneeling Sophie is included is because Bryan shot the wrong model for the graphic so now we can't take it out. Bad Bryan, no biscuit! So you were going to get 9 but now your getting 10. And the Kneeling one is more rare as you had to physically attend a convention to her her! Oopsy!

There is also Artist Con Sophie not included, Halloween Sophie dress as a witch sitting on the pumpkin with a cauldron.

I think Ron may have gotten his years wrong.

I'm sorry but now I'm really confused about ReaperClark's comments about the Artist Sophie and the Halloween Sophie. Are those included or not?

As I just posted in the Kickstarter comments, I would like to see Reaper start two more KS projects, one for moderns/sci-fi (i.e. Chronoscope) Bones (Chrones? ) and one for CAV Bones (though I really REALLY wish they would scale CAV up to 15mm for this).

I don't see a down side to the projects. If they don't reach their funding, no harm, no foul, nothing happens. If they do, well... :bday:

For the CAV KS, as a stretch goal, they could even have a re-do of the CAV 2.0 rules (changing ranges, etc. to reflect the new 15mm scale... ), even if it's just a pdf... They could once again turn to the CAV fan-base for input. This could finally give new life to the game, especially with cheap (money-wise) plastic minis. Checked the price of those Heavy Gear sets of figs lately, or BT? Ouch!

If Reaper were to do a plastic CAV KS, I would like to see them do CAVs in 6mm metal as a further stretch goal or +$ option as well...

Mr. McGuire: I want to say one word to you. Just one word.

Benjamin: Yes, sir.

Mr. McGuire: Are you listening?

Benjamin: Yes, I am.

Mr. McGuire: Plastics.

Benjamin: Exactly how do you mean?

Mr. McGuire: There's a great future in plastics. Think about it. Will you think about it?

I made an error when I shot the image and accidentally shot Kneeling Sophie instead of Artist Sophie. Because of that, you will receive Kneeling Sophie. Because Artist Sophie was Originally planned also, you will also receive her, although she will not be added to the picture. Halloween Sophie will not be added.

I'm actually wondering if/when the Uncle Sam Undertaker Death mini is going to be available...you know, the shovel-bearing robed skellie moving from headstone to headstone in the cemetery of KS goals. I love that guy!

Very excited about all this. Now that there are additional options to add to the Vampire level they are $10 each correct? Just add $20 to my original Vampire level pledge of $100 to get both the 2 Fire Giants and Ebonwrath?

Somehow I feel that the box of minis that is going to be shipped to my house will be huge...

Yes: adding the Fire Giants (2) and Ebonwrath to the Vampire pledge of $100 would be an extra $20. So, modify your pledge to be $120.

I'm just gonna let them sell it:

      Story
This Kickstarter campaign is intended to expand the Going Native line of models. We have a lot of new models sculpted and ready to be cast, along with scores of newly designed models that are ready to head off to the sculptors. We are doing a lot of new things with this campaign than we have done with earlier campaigns. So lets get started -

      Rise of the City States
In the Americas, as in Europe, powerful states would rise out of small chiefdoms or towns. These states were mighty cities with formidable militaries often lead by savvy and charismatic kings, queens or princes.  While we will stretch beyond this from time to time, the City States will be the main theme of this campaign.

      Physical Products
Unlike Kickstarter campaigns, all of my models and kit Physical products and not printable files. The vast majority of my models have be hand sculpted and classically cast. This campaign is very much a celebration of craftsmanship. Man sized models are planned to be spun cast in metal. The larger than man sized models will be cast in resin.

It's shiny. There's a guy riding a giant starfish. How can you go wrong with that? >.>

This is s figure that I painted during a speed painting class at Reapercon a couple years ago. I decided to go  back and clean up a couple things that I think could have been a little better. I know that's not quite the idea of speed painting, but I brought him to my tabletop standard, so I'm happy with him now.

Pop Up: Gothic Ritual: Torture equipment with blood spatter.
Seasonal: Petey for Deep Dish Pizza Day
Heavy Mod: Tree of Despair victim: want to reposition head, ropes, spread legs, gouge out middle and sculpt intestines to look like his torturers eviscerated him.
