Humm...I am extremely impatient and a terrible painter. Maybe these hundreds of new minis will give me something to practice on that won't make me feel bad for ruining :P

By the way, when all is said and done, I would LOVE to see a numbers breakdown on this. how many people pledged X or more, how many of what extras and add-ons were selected, most popular option, etc.

I think it would be fascinating.

we might be able to post some sanitized version of the numbers - obviously some numbers we need ot keep private, for business reasons. But things like "how many backers got X reward, how many got all rewards, how many got 50% etc, I might have time to do that. I'm a big chart goober, so I love graphs like that anyway.

Like the townsfolk! One thing I'm surprised we haven't seen for the vampire level is a .... vampire. Or did I just miss it in the mass of minis!

there's one on the chart, if we get to it!

Oh, wait.. um

you have 3 choices. ________ the contents of any stretch goal.

1) I am not authorized to reveal...

2) I can neither confirm nor deny...

3) It's far more amusing for me if I don't tell you...

Oh, and may I ask a favor? people sometimes complain about 4 models for $100k. Can people from here patiently and kindly remind them why we must raise so much money to give away 4 minis to 5,000+ people? I explained a few pages back, and it helped calm people here down, it might help there. and I can't answer there, as i have to go to bed, as I must work tomorrow.

I think it goes without saying that I am very pleased with this latest round of developments. I'd still like to see the other two townsfolk with torches in plastic, but having one -- and the most generic one at that -- is pretty awesome. Different skin tones, different hair colors, different tunic colors, and some weapon swaps to give a variety of farm implements, and this one model can easily pass for a contingent of angry townsfolk.

How many models is Vampire up to now? My count says 172?

Oh, and since I got my last wish...papa needs a set of bathalion drones and primarchs.

I still contend that perhaps 'girl breath' was meant as a complement ;-)

I'm prepared to hug it out if everyone else is.

<group hug>

I just assumed that the girl on the altar was the dragon's hors d'oeuvres - that his breath smelled like his snack.

Looks like the Kickstarter has been busy while I was gone - lots o' pretty new plastic. ::):

My own feeling in regards to the furnishings... boring but much wanted. ::):

Not exciting, but I will want several of the coffins and candelabra. My only complaint in regards to the dungeon trappings - I wish that the treasure chest looked more like the Mocking Beast, for the before and after effect....

And the dragon looks awesome!

On the weekend, I worked out what my approximate spend was going to be:

According to the Miniatures Calculator that Reaper just sent out, my minimum spend (so far) is $437. That's Vampire, the Sophie box, Biker Sophie variant, 4x Mr Bones, and one each of the optional minis, with no paint and no cases.

If I go up to what I'd like to get... $879

..

This was before the addition of the not-Dracoliche, the not-Murlocs, and probably before the Frost Wrym and Elementals as well. It was also before my wife decided she'd like to get the paint sets, and without the figure cases. It's also before the $100? $200? worth of additional options they'll drop in the coming week as well. All good. I'll pledge as much as I can for this weekend, and then add in the rest with my next fortnightly pay. After all, Bryan said we'd be able to add in more later. I even dropped completely out of Relic Knights to be able to afford more shiny Reaper goodness.

Today I got this in my email:

IMPORTANT: To get any of the Options or Extra Sets, you *must* add the necessary amount to your pledge NOW.

And while I understand the want/need to get as many people off the fence ASAP, I can't help but feel a little ticked off at that, especially given the assurances previously. Having all the typical adult responsibilities, I'm probably not going to have $500 to drop this week, let alone $1k. Now I'm wondering what the situation is. No add-ons later, or can we still add-on later? For me its the difference between getting a few of the extras and all of them (twice). For Reaper it's the difference between $400 and $1k from me.

So I'd really like to see a firm answer. Sooner rather than later.

- edit - yeah, just did a calculation based on the current stuff. I'm now up to $988 that I'd like to give to Reaper, if I can add them in from my next pay. Plus a week's worth of reveals.

The 30 new Bones fantasy minis, 36 goblins/kobolds/rats, 1 metal succubus on a chopper, 4 fighters, 10 undead, 4 villians, 4 elves, 4 dwarves, 4 hot female heroines, 4 red translucent fire elementals, 5 townsfolk, 6 heroes, 5 translucent green ghosts, 10 chronoscope figures, 1 necromancer with shovel, 6 marines, 9 pathfinder goblins, 4 demons, 4 dark elves, 5 NOVAs, 4 zombie hunters, 12 various vermin/vermin swarms, 7 Pathfinder iconics and now 5 pirates.

By my tally that's 184

Edit: Just realized the dwarf pirate has a pegleg and a cleaver!

@#!& yeah, Pirates of Dark Water Reference!

The firm answer was in the KS Update #35:

"You MUST pledge enough funds to cover the Level and Options you want before the kickstarter Ends!"

It looks like Reaper has decided that the logstics of 5200+ backers adding stuff after the project closes is too much for them to handle, and knowing the size of their staff, I can't blame them. So, pledging now is a good idea, with "now" meaning today, tomorrow, or whenever before Saturday when the clock expires on this KS. Obviously, the earlier people up their pledges to cover the stuff they know they want, the more momentum the KS has, and the more stretch goals we'll see before it is over. I'm sure you are aware of it already, but remember that your KS pledge does not get charged until the close of the project. If you know you will have the money Friday, pledge it now. There is no reason (from the KS-side of it) to delay, and if you need to up or even throttle back your pledge by the end of the week, you can still do that.

I hope your able to get all the options you want. Failing that, at least you know you'll be able to get the rest when it hits retail stores.
