Half the Kicktraq day down, and up 70K. We'll be well on our way to the Townsfolk II stretch by day's end. Gogogogo!

Undoubtedly. If the pledge tracker worked for me here at work I'd be recalculating my pledge over lunch. But I'll do my best....

Keep in mind if you are getting a lot of the figure options (that are already added to vampire), if you spend $50 plus on those then you might as well add another $50 and get another vampire level. You'll get a whole lot more bang for your buck. ::D:

Really, I feel we have done our job if every non-backer can find ONE Bones mini they would buy after the KS is over. I *hope* that we have already included enough good value that all Backers are already happy.

I will be very happy when this ends and I can sleep without the ticker next to my pillow set to wake me 25% toward goal so i can be awake in time to post updates.

But then, I'm selfish and like my sleep.

I wondered how this was being handled....

At first I thought there was a monkey that hit the refresh button every 30 seconds or so, and if they saw the goal was reached, they set of some Rube Goldberg contraption to alert the "People in Charge"

Then I thought... nah... can't be, KS must have some auto update function where you set levels and pre-plan the goal message, and it's fired off automatically.

Interesting that both were a bit right. :upside:

Kit built an automated widget that scans the tracker at the top of the forum and sends out a text alert to everyone at reaper when a goal is imminent. Kickstarter itself has automated none of that process. You cannot pre-load a stretch goal, nor pre-define trigger events at which to make announcements.

I think they do it because they want it to be a community experience, not an automated ticker. Which I get.

Thanks for the response! But I see you didn't deny the Rube Goldberg machine. ^_^

(And you're doing great! I barely noticed the couple times of lag... and I've been checking a little too compulsively. )

I was poking around youtube on some of the Bones reviews and saw that someone had converted the posture/pose of the Bones werewolf (arms as well as feet). How exactly do you do something like this. Bones seem to flex back into their original positions. Is it a matter of heat or glue? I was looking at the clockwork dragon and though I love clockwork the pose makes the figure more ornamental than interactive for me. Which got me wondering how easy it is to change something like that.

As long as the cut between the two halves is very flat, the bond will hold very well. Even if it's not perfectly flat, but has enough flatness, it will still hold well enough. The general rule is the more flat surface area, the stronger the bond.

As for repositioning, one thing I have done is straighten out an arm, drill down the center of it from the hand, stick a paperclip in the hole, putty the drill hole, and then bend in desired position.

What has Cobra been up tp lately???

I did do some work on a Storm Shadow one leading into his attempted liberation of Cobra Commander from G. I. Jail, but in the course of things he got into Dr. Mindbender's brownie stash and the whole works wound up being very much NSFW.

But if I can clean it up and keep it funny, or come up with an alternative short skit, there will be another.

Gah, I think I might crank my pledge to $400. For some reason I feel that getting one of every mini option is necessary.

I know, that's a pretty ludicrous thought, but I figure it will cover all my mini buying for the next year or so.

Its okay we have already moved way beyond ludicrous speed anyway.
