I'm truly on the fence on this one as well for pretty good reasons. First, I only get paid once at the end of each month and two I have two in college that start up again next week. That puts a serious damper on my ability to back this the way I want to. I'm hoping the dollar I have pledged won't take me into the red as it is. However, I am a huge Reaper supporter and always have been and have been pushing this on my own blog as well. So some of us just do what we can.

I agree completely. And while I'm throwing in much more than $1 I still would like to do more - particularly to help the people that want to contribute but don't have the funds right now. Ahhh...if only I hit the lottery and could cover for those people for the next few months. Regardless, I have been SO impressed with the Reaper community - both here and on the KS site.

Also, you have my complete respect, Heisler.

Heisler, one way to think about it is... Somebody has to support Reaper AFTER the KS is over. You will just be in that mix. Everyone that is upping their pledges left and right are making a great buy now for sure, but Reaper has to figure that they can expect less purchases over the next month or two as people recover from this.

My Hubby gets an email from Amazon every time I "adjust" our pledge. He was home on a stay-cation last week, but went back to work today. I know he is swamped at the office, so I keep "adjusting" it to mess with him.

I'm sure he'll have a few words for me when he gets home. I particularly planning on hearing the following words, in alphabetical order: and, are, budget, crazy, driving, I, me, more, no, please, stop, thinking, what, & you. :bday:

I had to drop my pledge.

Lets say a higher power was involved, and so was the phrase "You're spending how much on what?"

Hopefully I'll be in for the CAV one.

Sometimes you gotta choose. I was just telling my girlfriend that I was thinking of selling one of my AR-15's to fund this. She said "I don't think so!". Truely I have an awesome girlfriend! But I do think it may be necessary since there is so much goodness here.
