this is just my 'observation' bit so please disregard it as not necessarliy ranting but in that vein.

1. The actual Bones you can buy seem to be all over the place surrounded by material that will help Reaper raise Capital but aren't necessarily tied into the Bones in any way. This isn't a bad thing necessarily but it does add a lot of stuff and a lot of potential confusion.

2. There are not enough Bones levels. There were several never releases for example and while I could be mistaken, I didn't see them as part of this 'loot'. There needs to be some type of 'add on' level so that people can select the figures they want as well. Not everyone is going to want every Bones figure. I understand it can be more trouble adding those different options, but given my note in #1 that you have all of these weird things like Hats going on, it shouldn't be too difficult.

3. It's almost Gen Con. No, seriously. I'm not saying it'll have a big or even any effect, but man, all these Kickstarters coming out during the period that's one of the biggest Cons in the year? Seriously?

4. Stretch Goals are... high? When I've been part of other kickstarters, the stretch goals are fairly incremental. This one is almost double the amount. Mind you, it's a sweet freebie but I'm wondering how much thought has gone into the different tiers of add ons versus stretch goals.

5. Speaking of goofy bits, you have al evel that you can get a year of all Reaper's metal modles. Does that mean during the Bones Kickstarter you don't get any plastic figures at the $1K level?

I'm sure I'll have other comments/bits as things flesh out but I think based on Reaper's strong brand and it's great miniatures you'll have no problem making the initial goal but think that some of the stretch goals might be pushing it a bit. Hopefully I'm wrong. The Sophia's alone might bear out all costs.

Some of the Pledge levels are not themselves for Bones, you are sort of correct. They are for items that serve entirely to help us raise the capital necessary to complete the project on the more rapid timeline than our own processes would normally allow. I said Sort of Correct because the things like "get this Green" or "Get that CAV Silver" ALSO receive everythign at Vampire Level - which is the $100 pledge. This is actually common on Kickstarter - I could point to other projects which had donation rewards that entitled you to dinner with the CEO, or signed pictures of the developers. The idea is for the capital to be raised to support the venture, and while we made every effort to ensure that you could get the product we were making, we also made items that existed purely to raise capital. Since that's kind of the point of kickstarter, and nobody is obligated to pledge any reward that they don't like the proffered item.

We can examine adding in more levels

We have scheduled our effort to end after GenCon but before PAX. We do not require that you pledge, so if it is outside of your budget, rest assured the figures will also be available for retail purchase next year shortly after they ship to the supporters. Probably within 90 days. Pledging ensures a) that you get a copy and b) that you get yours before most stores (Excepting stores that pledge - they get theirs when the consumers do)

4. Stretch Goals are... high? When I've been part of other kickstarters, the stretch goals are fairly incremental. This one is almost double the amount. Mind you, it's a sweet freebie but I'm wondering how much thought has gone into the different tiers of add ons versus stretch goals.

Rather a lot of thought, really. Each new mold is a significant outlay, and we must also strive to cover the production cost of every unit we add to the pledge - after all, for you it's still the same pledge, but for us it's the cost of a new mold and x new figures. It is not at all dissimilar in fact to goals offered by other kickstarters. Yes, it looks like a lot to say 30 figures for 30k and then 4 more for 20k, but even at that point the project is not 100% Crowdfunded. This project still requires investment of our own funds, and the crowdfunding is only helping us to both defray the cost and guage level of interest.

5. Speaking of goofy bits, you have al evel that you can get a year of all Reaper's metal modles. Does that mean during the Bones Kickstarter you don't get any plastic figures at the $1K level?

For $1,000, it is Vampire Level PLUS all metal releases for one year - Vampire Level being all 30 new figures, PLUS Sophie, PLUS the Dungeon Attack Pack. All levels above $100 EXCEPT the one for all the Sophies include everything that the $100 level gets also.

We code named our levels after undead, to fit the Bones theme. This is, again, fairly common in Kickstarters.

If they do, that's great. We're trying to raise the funds to make the Bones, and in doing so hoping to give the consumer something they value in exchange.

We have to reach a certain level before we can start adding more Bones models, it's economics. As thing go up, more bones will be going in to the mix.

2. There are not enough Bones levels. There were several never releases for example and while I could be mistaken, I didn't see them as part of this 'loot'. Let's put it this way, things can be added as we reach the goals.

3. It's almost Gen Con. No, seriously. I'm not saying it'll have a big or even any effect, but man, all these Kickstarters coming out during the period that's one of the biggest Cons in the year? Seriously?

Something we had to concider for sure.

We anticipate reaching the goals especially ounce the first one is met and we can start adding more stuff. We started with a low initial goal so we can help insure this funding.

5. Speaking of goofy bits, you have al evel that you can get a year of all Reaper's metal modles. Does that mean during the Bones Kickstarter you don't get any plastic figures at the $1K level?

Metal only. You'll end up with a bunch of plastic if things go (as we hope they will) as this level includes the Vampire level which gives you the Bones models too.

Bryan beet me to it!

Its a shame you dont have anything for your international customers in the Crown Jewel level, as i would have loved to get my hands on "Crown Jewel - Vampire Level + Dragon Lion model 02788 in green"

As a collector this one would be sweet to have!

Sorry, but there was just no way to set up the international shipping for these items. If they were to get lost, we would not be able to replace them. We thought long and hard about this. If you know someone in the States that could get it for you and ship it to you outside of the Kickstarter, that would be a poddible solution.

Or at least a possible solution!

Though many levels don't give you a forum badge to "prove" you pledged, instead you need to back at zombie level as well.

Eg I would need to pledge $60 + $5 + $7 (Mummy + International + Zombie) to get one. Perhaps not surprisingly I'm passing on the $7. (Though I'm backing at Vampire level so I'll get a badge anyway.)

On the subject of ordering more of specific models, that is something I would love to do. While I don't need multiple complete sets of the Mummy level there are minis in there that I would like to get 3x such as; zombie, harpy, lizardman, hell hound, bat swarm and the various black orcs. I would happily go for a "Monster Block" from the new models in multiples if that made it easier.
