Yeah, well, I got mine after the age of video cameras. I could only grab a couple before a dishwasher came charging out the back door,so I had to hit a lot of different places... particularly when it came time to do the bed frame, the sofa, and the dining table...

I know the case is estimated to be between 100 and 150 figures, but does anyone know whether they're large enough to hold a figure after it's been based? Gonna PM Bryan about it too, just to be sure. I'm sitting here doing the math for what I can afford by Saturday, what I'd like to get if the RPM is still up once I get my September slush [if Kit's estimating 30 days, it should], and what I can pass on entirely until it hits retail.

The case is one of those things up for debate...if it'll hold based figures [1" square], then it's on my list to pick up; even if it retails at $50 it'll be a lot cheaper than an ArmyTransport and its ilk, and while it won't work for huge models [the orc spearman looks to be a tight fit], it'll work for normal-sized ones very nicely.

THIS was the first dragon I ever owned....

tumblr_m9ahaaswCw1rao9jio1_1280.jpg

Oh, fair warning: the address dates back to 1980 or so, so I'd bet Tom Loback ain't answerin' mail there any more...

But I remember that this dragon ran about sixteen, twenty bucks, not counting the ludicrous shipping cost. And now Reaper's shipping me a whole passel of them...

DEVIL DEVIL DEVIL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Seriously thou, ummm well ah screw it. If your interested in playing S&W play by post style I have a semi-open spot in a game I'm running here. I use the Core rules as they are free for everyone to download & look through. Right now the cleric was a PC & then is now a NPC. I'd rather have a player playing that role or that spot. If your interested, just post in the Gathering post I have there. It's more or less the free talk, alerts section for the game.

Now back to the KS!! 2.5+!!!!!

Ceramic one? Oh, no. The ceramic one was just my first ceramic one. I didn't even get that one until I was in my thirties.

The Dragontooth one, though... that one I got when I was thirteen. I loved that dragon, even if the wings wouldn't stay on, even with solder...

lol this has been the 3d time where I open up the reapermini.com page and the kickstarter banners say $0. LOL

It's probably because the banner seems to be sampling pretty quickly, which makes me think its almost realtime. Kickstarter's servers throttle the requests per minute, and if it's getting hammered a lot, it would be returning a blank page.

Crosspost from the Trade Thread, but putting in here just so everyone knows!

For folks in the Boston/Greater Boston area, I plan on having a Reaper Mini's Bone's Paint & Swap at some fun meeting location on some fun weekend shortly after the Bones delivery (probably 2-3 weeks after to ensure that everyone gets theirs).

I'll post more as we get closer, but this /will/ happen!

Stay tuned!

Milk Crates: The happy medium!

In times when you're high on space and low on furnishing a few zip ties is all you need to craft yourself a lovely bookshelf/entertainment center. When you;re flush and furnished, just nip the ties and stack them in the closet.

Why waste the closet space? Just keep the milk crates up and don't waste the money on the overpriced particleboard that passes for furniture nowadays.

I hear ya! It has gotten so bad I've actually bought a few of my crates. Not often, but If I see them cheap at thrift stores or garage sales I won't pass them up.

Many will fit, but some of the figs will probably need 2 foam cells merged together.
