260k to go. :D I'm loving these Necromancers. I thought the Swords and Wizardry pdf was kinda random though. Hope you guys aren't running out of ideas. :P lol

Yeah, I won't turn it down, might be fun to look over for the memories it evokes, but I'm a Pathfinder player these days...

Here's a Warlord and Bones related question: How does the Undead Giant model compare to the Skeletal Giant in the Necropolis army? Will it fit on a 2" base?

To my eye, the one in the KS looks larger. I suspect his feet would stick out well beyond the edges of a 2" base.

But I don't see why you couldn't proxy him into a Necropolis army in a friendly game.

No, the Bones one is huge. I have mine based on a CD. There is a scale comparison pic here.

Yeah, I'd seen that, but it wasn't clear how close his feet were together and whether they'd fit on a 2", especially given that a 2" square is nearly 3" diagonally (it almost looks like it would scoot over and fit on that giant's base, although it would likely have to be weighted.)

So my husband-ish started keeping an eye on what I was doing at Kickstarter and here at Reaper and had the audacity to start laying claim on some of the minis that I am going to be getting. :grr: So I think he's going to be getting his own Vampire level pledge and some extras for Christmas because I just don't share my minis. I mean really.... he was going to lay claim to my elves, dwarves and giants! I don't think so!!

No way! He gets his own! It's only fair! =)

I know the case is estimated to be between 100 and 150 figures, but does anyone know whether they're large enough to hold a figure after it's been based?
Many will fit, but some of the figs will probably need 2 foam cells merged together.

Thanks Frank; I wasn't planning on sticking everything in there, but if it'd make transporting Orcpocalypse and the other vaguely human-sized ones easier, I'd be game. It's cheaper than an ArmyTransport, and such a case strikes me as overkill for figures that aren't going to chip or snap upon being dropped.

Granted, the more I run the math, the more my brain is hurting, figuring out what

He looks like a facelift for 2911, the Colossal Skeleton, rather than the Skeletal Giant. I dunno if you'd be able to use that in a Necropolis army or not. Granted, that's mainly because I have nobody to play Warlord with, let alone the cash for an army of my own for a game I don't know if I'll like.

Judging by the Bryangles on the Skeletal Giant pic, I'm thinking the big big one's stance is about the same size as the entirety of the other.

Edit: What's done is done. My pledge is in for what I can afford right now, with the intent of using the RPM to pick up more with my September discretionary fund.

He has to get his own so mine are safe from his grubby paws. This is absolutely a case of "what's mine is NOT YOURS!". ::D:

You could always make your own if you have the time. Cheap tool box, some cardboard & foam from a craft store (many have nice coupons!)
