For anyone who was interested, the clockwork dragon is painted and up in the preview gallery, Kaladrax is painted awaiting photography and I'm mostly through Nethyrmaul. I hope to be done with it by m

Hello everyone! First post here on the forums.   I am a homeschool mom, and while taking my son out to do some donations to a local shelter, we stopped by when my son spotted a local game store. H

.     .     .     .

Thank you Reaper peeps for all the work you put into this. I am glad you gave us the opportunity to help support you guys, and get a fantastic deal on your product to boot.

Thank you to all the guys here on the forums who have been entertaining me in between my own obessive hitting of F5. You guys are a riot, and I hope to see more of you guys around. (I'll stick around too this time... I'm working on the karmic debt that kept me away from the forums. )

And Thank you to everyone who supported this, we all made out like bandits because of each others support. ::D:

As soon as I saw Cthulhu, I almost wet my pants not only upped my pledge to cover him, I upped it enough to cover another case. Just to help make sure we got Cthulhu.

I had a similar reaction when I saw Cthulhu. :)

Same here.

Man, what a ride!!! In the end I had 2 people at work checking their phones for updates as well as my wife at home sending me texts. The funniest thing was that none of those people are into miniatures at all! I was getting giddy updates all day from them - it was crazy!

I wasn't able to add to my pledge but fully plan to add an extra $20 for Kaladrax and Cthulhu when the Pledge Manager comes online. Really glad that didn't make the difference (could you imagine - missing the goal by $20??!!).

I do have to wonder - what was the next goal?.....

And now let us all have a moment of silence for the 192 Skeletons, 6 Zombies, 330 Ghasts, 16 Ghouls, 17 Spectres, 48 Wraiths, 121 Ghosts, 32 Mummies (You poor bastards, so close!) and perhaps even the 155 Liche-Level Sophie fanatics who chose succubus-lust over sheer volume of lovely plastic. We can only hope these tragic 900-odd brothers and sisters come to their senses and beg, borrow or steal the money needed to Vamp up when the RPM launches

And of course the countless thousands who clicked too late and were forever lost to us.

May Bryan have mercy on their checkbooks.

Congrats to everyone involved!

I was sitting in the store with one of my customers doing dueling refreshes, him on his iPad, me on my laptop.

I even tried to up my pledge a couple of minutes out (which I wasn't going to do at work), but I couldn't get in to KS. My heart dropped when I finally got in with less than 30 seconds left and it looked like we were less than $20 short (I was going to up my order by $40). Then KS crashed again and I thought we missed it.

But then I saw the fb post that we made the Cthulhu and was relieved...

Now, who do I have to bribe to get my minis before March?

I am so excited for this. Roll on 2013. Anyway, I tried to roughly divy up what I'll be getting by genre/type (I'm not quite getting everything, actually, but most things). Couldn't seem to upload it larger, and I'm sure others could do a better job of it than me, but it filled a bones craving for me for a bit.

Man, with all these recent posts, I feel like I got out really cheap at $250. I don't even know what I'm getting for that. I just bumped my pledge to what I felt I could spare whilst still staying married, figure I'll make the decision about what I actually get when the survey comes out. Or let my kids.

Don't feel too bad - that is about where I stopped. That is pretty much my game budget for the next 6 months too. I don't care though - I managed to get my wife very excited about this deal when she saw the sheer volume of minis I'll be getting and how many of them are top quality female figures as well.

Here's a simple one for you.  Painted the Great Worm as a Purple Worm to the surprise of no one.

Couldn't find a better thread to post this in.  Has anyone else ever had mold grow on their minis?

I have a set of bones that have been sitting around for about two year. They were super glued to a reaper base. Baking soda and super glue were used to blend the integrated base into the round base. There's also a layer of cheap craft paint as primer.

These guys have been sitting on my painting table in a former sun-room for about two years.

I noticed the bases had yellowed a bit, which I've begun to notice on some of my other older bases using baking soda as a basing material. But when I checked on them I noticed small fuzzy looking orange tufts.

I can only assume this is mold.

The only things I could think of to cause this are the baking soda or the water used to clean my brush before priming.

      Has anyone else seen this?

Hello again!  I'm back with an assortment of Bones that are serving as my Rangers of Shadow Deep solo party.  Decided I wanted a classic fantasy look, but didn't want to fall into the cliched green cloak look.  With that stipulation, I settled on a more autumnal color palette, and tried to keep this aesthetic across the entire party, without anyone looking like they were wearing matching uniforms.  I'm pretty pleased with the results and I tried to push myself with each mini.  What do you think?

More Photos and Thoughts Beneath the Spoiler:

I have only played a few scenarios of Rangers of Shadow Deep, and I'm honestly not sold on the whole solo-game thing.  But if the game has done anything for me, it has given me motivation to paint more and has given purpose to some of the things I already have painted.  I already ordered some extra gnolls and ghouls to meet the required numbers and will likely be showing off some monsters soon.

Which character do you like best?

What games have motivated you to paint those piles of shame?

Hello Forum friends, I'm being quite productive lately  Gonna show you the most recent mini I painted: Small world Sophie.
Ok, I have to say I'm in love with this chibi minis, I'm gonna buy lot more cause I find them so funny to paint!
About the paint job, well, anytime I manage to paint Sophie, my color choice for her wings is always Violet (or purple if you prefer) and so why do not make my life easy and go for a complementary palette? So, purple and yellow. Easy peasy...
Anyway, this is the result, I'm quite happy of her, I hope you'll like her too.
As always every C&C is more than welcome :)
