Thanks for all the comments :)

Ive fixed the Ebonwrath/Deathsleet naming now (edited the updated links into my first post).

I have two suggestions: first, add in the storm/cloud giants, please! [...] Second, they've said Nethyrmaul isn't likely to have all that rocky outcropping as a base

I had a look at those two changes, but I think its probably better to leave them. As it is now its just a useful guide to show all the images at the same size relative to the scale figure - if I start adding my own estimates for the Stormies or how much rock to trim off Nethyrmaul there'll be a fair margin for error and it wont be as clear what exactly the images are showing.

I know the intention is good, but please take scale comparisons like this with a grain of salt.

Absolutely. It should not be taken as a "this is the size the minis will be", just as a guide to help visualise how big the images all are if the scale figure is made the same size - I created it just because I could see that they were different but couldnt picture in my head exactly how much bigger something like the Nethyrmaul would get if the scale mini was equal sized. You can certainly see some that are obviously at different angles, etc, like for example the large Spider Centaur or the Jabberwock in comparison to the second Demon or the Clockwork Dragon concept.

So what kind of giant is the undead giant supposed to be based on? It's way bigger than a Storm Giant.

All his life the other giants said he was fat, now he had the proof, he really was just big boned.

Hah.

Yeah Im not sure what he could be... Maybe the bones of a really big demon or something. Or its gotten into Alice's cake that said "eat me".

I hate to impose, but could I make a request for a size comparison? I'd love to see the Spider Demoness, the Hydra, and (if you have them) the griffon and owlbear compared to a standard human sized figure. If I could see all of those models lined up together, I think I'd have a really good idea of their sizes.

A little past 9, but here you go:

This was shot on-level with the figures, from a distance of about 9". They are all on the same centerline (middle of base), so the scale should appear fairly correct. Note that my Hydra is mounted on a base that raises his height, but I've also compressed the legs of the spider queen in (raising her height) to fit her on a 50mm square. With her natural leg span, she'd probably fit better on a 60mm round or so.

Wow! Thank you for the picture. I'm loving the Spider Demoness more than ever now. My girlfriend got her to paint for herself, but I'm thinking I just might get one to paint too.

And gotta say, my compliments on the paint job of that hydra! It's very well done and I love the color scheme.

You're welcome, and thanks for the compliment on the Hydra. I did not paint it, however. It was done by a commission artist that has done a number of my dragons and larger models in my collection. The color scheme matches the rest of my Reptus army. More of my painted Warlord stuff can be found in the Adon's Most Wanted thread.

I agree regarding the spider queen; I've got two of her in metal. I also have two more of a very similar piece Patrick did some time back under his MorganKeith Studios line called Hesperus the Black Widow, which there sadly seem to be no pictures of online. This motivates me to assemble one and get it painted soon so that there is. :;):

I really didn't realize how large the spider demoness model was. In fact, I'm thinking I'm really not prepared for how large many of the bones minis I'll be getting in March are.

That's ok, I still think you can take them if they rise up against you.

Except cthlulhu, but that's because he has mind powGREAT CTHULHU NOW OWNS THIS CREATURE. ALL WILL OBEY.

This one? http://www.rattleheadgames.com/images/products/MKS060801.jpg

Man, now I kind of want that one of those too :>

Also I can't seem to see the scale image you posted. I just see an error message that resizr is only temporary and you should host your image somewhere else?

That is the one. Very cool figure. Comparing the two side-by-side, it looks like Patrick probably used the spider portion of her as the basis for the Reaper version, sculpting a new drow torso and adding the spikes to the abdomen of the spider body.

And apologies for the scale comparison; I tried to take the easy route out on that one. I've moved the hosting of the image over to my website, so it should now appear correctly again.

I ended up basing the spider demoness on a 4" disc of cork that she almost didn't fit on. But I also assembled her more spread out and lower to the ground. How small a base she fits on can vary quite a bit depending on how you put her legs on. This now has me wondering if she comes pre-legged, what size base will she be on. I figure I have 6 months to ponder that until the answer arrives at my door :)

I imagine whether she comes pre-assembled or not, she likely won't be on a base either way.

...pledge manager...must have pledge manager....going into kickstarter withdrawal...
Oh, I was about to ask if the pledge manager had been released. Just wanted to check to make sure the Email hadn't been blocked by a spam filter or something.

Far as I can tell, nothing's been announced, which is kind of a bummer. At least keep us updated that progress is being made... or at least tell us again that they're waiting on amazon.
