I'm conflicted about this KS and Tre's Red Box KS. I just dropped a large order on Tre for his metal models, as I just don't like plastics. I want to support him and see him succeed, and I want to see Reaper succeed too. My last Reaper metal order was pretty hefty as well.

 

Ed Fortae over at Troll Forged, who is casting Tre's resin/plastic models, is hopefully sending me a test piece in the mail to convince me to jump in.

 

I'm feeling very Luddite about switching to a new material.

Had to register to the forum just so I could benefit from the badge.

 

I have to assume that everyone over the $7 level gets the forum badge... I didn't notice it when reading the Kickstarter.

On the subject of ordering more of specific models, that is something I would love to do. While I don't need multiple complete sets of the Mummy level there are minis in there that I would like to get 3x such as; zombie, harpy, lizardman, hell hound, bat swarm and the various black orcs. I would happily go for a "Monster Block" from the new models in multiples if that made it easier.

Since *EVERY* figure except Kickstarter Sophie will be available for sale through our normal channels (Distribution, Retailers, Website), there *does* exist the option to get specifically the ones you want. As I said above, however, we will examine adding additional levels based on the feedback we have received in the first 15 hours - and will continue to discuss additional ideas to satisfy as this continues.

I want to point out that for $25 or $28, Kickstarter Sophie is in Metal, so there exists a way to support this project without compromising your principles.

<sigh> Sucked into Kickstarter again after successfully resisting several other ones...

 

You might want to add the "if I want the UL and normal KS Sophies, how do I get them?" type questions to the FAQ (and maybe the top part of the description as well?).

@ReaperBryan - I understand they will all be available eventually in the store. But if I want to pledge up from Vampire I'd rather be buying models I want in multiples, ie monsters, and not having a lot of unwanted duplicates.

I sorted this because I saw someone asking for bigger pictures either here or on the KS.

There is no need to wait. KS doesn't bill until shortly after the end date (Aug 25 in the US). Just need to make sure you have your pledged $$ on hand at that time. Also should the worst happen you can always cancel a pledge.

Mm hmm. Those are brand new sculpts. And you'll notice two more brand new sculpts in the Fighter stretch goal as well.

If your going to consider adding some different levels... might I suggest a level that includes MSP.. My goal is to own a bottle of every hue of MSP. Just a thought.

Augh, this is probably the toughest KS decision I've had to make.

 

All the Sophies, including ones that haven't been available for years...or the Vampire loot kit.
