Has anybody reported problems with their pledges not going through? My husband put one in last night, and Kickstarter hasn't yet acknowledged it.

Jen - not with this KS, but I have in the past. In that case, I had an issue with my card on file in my Amazon account.

 

If it did go through, you should get an email from Amazon about a pre-approval.

Got a notification from Amazon, but kickstarter itself reports it as 'processing', and since it was for one of the 'crown jewel' levels, I'd expect the count of those to update...and it hasn't.

Ahh...never done a limited reward. Maybe someone at Reaper has to acknowledge it or something?

Just spitballin' but I wonder if the threshold for the goals will narrow as the total funding level rises? More incentive to just pledge a leeetle more money? For instance a goal would be $5000 more instead of $10k?

I got a chuckle out of it too. Paul was the Walrus, I thought everybody knew that...........

And this stretch goal is exactly what I was talking about earlier. Yes, these 5 models are already in the initial 30, but a whole mess of them for $20? Perfect. If you buy in at Vampire, and this stretch is met, you would have nearly 1500 points of Kargir models for Warlord (you'd need a Boneflayer or 3 to make the list legal, but you get the point).

 

EDIT: And that doesn't count the dozen goblins in the Dungeon Pack!

I believe that is the ultimate goal, but I'm not sure it's actually within the scope of this kickstarter. I know they've said they wanted to bring production stateside before.

This isn't a pyramid scheme. More like a PBS pledge drive. You kick in some cash so we can make the production. In exchange we deliver a product of value to you. If you think the amount we're asking for is fair in exchange for the value of the reward, pledge. If you don't, don't.

If your dad buys you minis already he should like this, $31 for 20 minis is really cheap. (As a dad I'm buying them to share with my kids who will be very excited to be able to paint 10 orcs each!)

I've got to go bump up my pledge. Tomorrow. I like the stretch goals, and the marketing move of "I unburied Paul" is too good for me to pass up.
