Did you adjust fo DST in that projection?

Yes.

Yes.

Essentially it ends 11pm GMT. Calculate from there.

I know, that's math homework, but it works.

Speaking of collecting and retailing, Any way for non retailers to get a package deal of the "59 different bones" listed in the "Undertaker" level? Or is that what will become available on the kickstarter as funding goals are met? I would have went for the undertaker level, but I'm assuming one would HAVE to have a retailers licence to get that deal.

The level was designed for retailers, and specifies that it is for retailers only. To be 100% honest, Kickstarter does not have a mechanism to verify that you are a retailer, but we ask that you please repsect your retailer, and us, by honoring this.

Well it looks like the Undertaker wording has changed a bit and removed the display rack. I'm guessing this may be in response to kickstarter banning retailer rewards... http://www.icv2.com/...news/23564.html . Very myopic thing for kickstarter to do IMHO.

Cool, thanks. That means it finishes 11pm Sunday here, so I should be fine. I can have a countdown party!

Just remember the TIME angle. Vampire level rewards won't show until March 2013.
Just keep telling yourself you're not dumb, you're just impatient, and that you couldn't wait until March to have those giants...

Oh, well, in that case I do feel less dumb. I'll need these by October at the latest at the rate my campaign is going. March 2013 would be far too late for them to be useful to me.

Another question that I can't seem to find the complete answer to:

If I pledge a given amount, when the kickstarter ends will I be able to increase that amount or am I limited to how much I pledged?

Eilif - what I would recommend doing is to pledge what you'll think you'll be able to spend and want to spend overall regardless of what the award levels are right now. Basically, just assume there will be cool stuff you'll spend on. Then come back a day or two before the KS ends, and adjust your total up or down to reflect what you actually want, based on the new rewards you see there.

You don't have to be obsessive like the rest of us...

That's possible, but as others have said, I don't want to miss out on what might come at the very end. Added to this is the fact that I'm managing a group buy of the "vampire" so it'd be so much less stress to not have to be incontact with 3 other people right up until the deadline.

I was confused about this because earlier in this thread someone asking about an upgrade that wasn't available was told "we'll have something for you in the survey"

Well, we can keep our fingers crossed that Reaper has something in mind to help you.

I do have some gamers who will be buying into my vampire level add-ons, but I've told them I don't want to hear from them til our next game session, at which point, they can give me their cash. That's the week before this KS ends, so it gives them a week to obsess over what to buy with the amount they give me. I'm doing it that way so that I don't have to deal with them constantly changing their minds, plus I'm hoping that a couple of them will give in and just pledge themselves before then.

Sure! We're working on a tool that will be helpful to people that miss out on Options and such, and within Kickstarter's rules, will allow us to accommodate last-minute pledges, even after they officially stop accepting them. I can't give details now, except to say that it's best for the project if you pledge now, and not wait, as dollars pledged now count towards goals, and dollars added after it closes do not. Kickstarter will stop letting you adjust your pledge at 5pm Central time on 8/25.

Eilif, I believe Brian was being deliberately vague about that specific option the "Undead Horde". I suspect that Reaper is planning another stretch goal that is similar to the Orks stretch at the $215K level that involves skeletons and zombies. Not that there will be a mechanism that will allow for additional funds after the close of the Kickstarter.

But, that's only a guess.

I strongly suspect this too.

I've also noticed what appears to be an intelligent shift in Reaper's stretch goals for this middle period. In my experience, most Kickstarter projects experience a pledge slowdown for the middle period. And Reaper's recent stretch goals seem geared to cope with that. FREX, the goals are closer together, and seem more about generating more pledges to up the overall funding of the project. Things like the Orcs don't require another new mold, since that was already funded in the initial project goal.

So a skeleton and zombie Add-On stretch goal seems likely before we hit that crypt.

Almost as if we studied the patterns of two dozen successful projects and half a dozen high profile unsuccessful ones and planned accordingly...

Those cagey [basket Weavers]!

huh. Language filter....
