Kickstarter Discussion Thread

Hi Everyone,

apologies if this question has already been asked and answered, but I can't find this info:

Will the Kickstarter Bones be in blisters? I'm thinking they would make great birthday presents for the niece and nephew next summer and it would be nice if they came in packages.

Thanks and have a great weekend!

Almost as if we studied the patterns of two dozen successful projects and half a dozen high profile unsuccessful ones and planned accordingly...

Nah, that couldn't be it. That would imply that Reaper is run by <gasp> accountants! <gasp>

We haven't finalized what we're doing for packaging yet.

Both Actually. Ed left a successful CPA business to found Reaper, AND he's a big nerd.

And I knew that, which is why I said it. Fortunately for us Reaper fans, Ed's nerd side appears to hold significant influence with his accountant side.

Sure! We're working on a tool that will be helpful to people that miss out on Options and such, and within Kickstarter's rules, will allow us to accommodate last-minute pledges, even after they officially stop accepting them. I can't give details now, except to say that it's best for the project if you pledge now, and not wait, as dollars pledged now count towards goals, and dollars added after it closes do not. Kickstarter will stop letting you adjust your pledge at 5pm Central time on 8/25.

Thanks, that's what I was hoping. I should have 95% of my pledge lined up and "Pledged" before the deadline, but being able to make a few additions might prove quite helpful especially if there's a last minute pledge rush.
