At vampire level, can we pick which Sophie (clothed or UL), r do we need to add the three bucks?

Did the pictures and level descriptions on the KS page get messed up today, or is it just my system? Yesterday they looked right and in order. This morning they are out of order and some are duplicated.

Oh, for the DYOM pledge, did I mention I play Tiamat in my campaign....

I'm in.

Had to register to the forum just so I could benefit from the badge.

I have to assume that everyone over the $7 level gets the forum badge... I didn't notice it when reading the Kickstarter.

This is correct. We're going to clarify that on the Kickstarter page.

Oh now that's a cool idea! Thanks for that tip! Now, how much do I want to support....or rather, what won't get me killed by my wife for pledging!
The Design Your Own Mini. Your wife would love that one.

I was thinking along those lines....but then my will to remain among the living kicked in and I had to opt for a slightly lower option.

Wish I had the funds to be able to support that high. Would be so cool to have my own mini!

Have pledged what I can. Hopefully more projects like this come along to help you guys out. Have always been a huge fan of Reaper minis...and you guys have gotten quite a lot of my money in the past! May as well keep helping out!

Vampire level is the clothed Sophie. Add three dollars at the pledge screen to get the UL one, and we'll have a widget with the survey to help you indicate your choice. If you want them both, add $28 and see the survey widget.

If you want more than one Sophie, just add in the appropriate dollar amount for the Sophie you want. Yes, you'll have to do some math.

Not sure about the images. Looks fine from here. Maybe just a hiccup?

I know you're joking, but I have to say it. DYOM can't be copyrighted material. But you know that. :;):

4. Stretch Goals are... high? When I've been part of other kickstarters, the stretch goals are fairly incremental. This one is almost double the amount. Mind you, it's a sweet freebie but I'm wondering how much thought has gone into the different tiers of add ons versus stretch goals.

Honestly, I was stunned that the goals are so low. If I remember the rumors correctly, I believe that GW pays somewhere in the neighborhood of 18K per mold for each sprue for their injection plastic minis. It's one thing to create molds in vulcanized rubber and a whole new level of production to have molds made in steel. On top of that, add the risk that sales may not outpace the production cost on a particular mini..... Brave indeed. 30K for 30 new minis sounds like a bargain to me. Reaper's venture into the BONES line was a calculated risk that I believe will pay huge dividends, but is still a very large risk. I salute you Reaper. I most certainly will be doing my meager part in the kickstarter. I just wish I was in the position to pledge more. Good Luck! I hope the kickstarter is hugely successful!

I should point out that the Kickstarter Funds raised do not pay 100% for the production run. We will still invest a significant chunk in this ourselves - but by asking for help funding, we can reduce the initial cost to ourselves, and provide a product faster. This is not a for-profit "publicity stunt", it's a legitimate request for consumer support to help us provide you with the minis you've been clamoring for, faster than we could on our own.

And this is how we know that Reaper loves us...

Thanks for all of the replies in this thread, and the one started by cornbread. I never doubted the legitimacy of Reaper's Kickstarter, but knowing the thinking behind it makes me want to support it more.

Dig. Now get me some sparklers and glow sticks.

A few bucks shy of $21,500 as of the writing of this post...not bad for something that's only been running a day.

I only have one problem...Are you guys willing to accept a 'late kick'? I'm down for dropping $238 for Vampire, Urban Legend, and Sophie Harem, but barring some sort of miracle I'm probably not going to have $238 by 8/25. I should be able to do one of the big-ticket pair (Vampire or Harem) by then, extenuating circumstances notwithstanding, but don't think I'll be able to do all of it before the deadline.
