My Ebay auctions for the 40k stuff I'm selling end today, so once I get that money in I'll be making my pledge.

My wife has been very understanding of my miniature habit, and once she realized I could make money at it she's been down right encouraging! I've been talking to her about this Kickstarter a lot- last night even went into detail on how some of the stretch goals are auto-added, etc.

Back when we were dating she surprised me at Christmas by getting me one of the LoTR miniature sets. This was very surprising because it meant that a beautiful woman went into a gaming store of her own free will to purchase something. Heck, she even went so far as to talk the owner out of one of the promotional posters that they had for the LoTR minis- and got it at no charge!

I'm really hoping that the square tombstone is some sort of miniatures case- that would be excellent. SInce I'm planning on using all of my new Bones miniatures for my D&D games, I'll need some way to get them to the table (since I'm lucky and we're playing at someone else's house for a change).

If anyone's a 40k player and wants me to put in a higher pledge to Kickstarter, then feel free to bid on an auction :)

@Buglips- some of the Dark Sword minis do require a little bit of green stuff work, but not all of them. There are a few reviews of DS minis over at WAMP, so if you're even remotely interested I'd suggest reading a review or two. As one of the reviewers I can tell you that most of the figures only needed a tiny amount of GS work if you want to be a perfectionist. I can't recall any off the top of my head where it was absolutely required for assembly or to fix a problem.

Question - I want to get all the "options" available to the kick starter backers however.

If reaper could give a break down of all the current options via Google Docs or something of the sort...

Pretty Minis are distracting!

BTW Upped my pledge to 155.00 USD. ::D:

These images are replaced as options are completed.

Then, what was the first winged tombstone? Large, unique miniatures are awesome. Before I could never imagine spending $60 on a single large mini that would be one fight in a campaign but right now, at $10 with the kickstarter its like the bargain bin...

Why not? When you have a model this awesome: http://www.reapermini.com/OnlineStore/rauthuros/sku-down/14417

Mind you I play Warlord but when I pull him out for Warhammer Fantasy Battles people oohh and ahh at how awesome he is because no Evil Empire demon looks as awesome as he does. Even though I own him I may just get him in Bones.

Actually, that's the kind of speculation that I don't like. It doesn't make sense. He will require a mold by himself and none of the other large monsters have been free they are all options. I'm worried that people will start to expect him to be free because of speculation and then will be up in arms when/if he's not. I guess in the end we will see.

I know, and I debated with myself about going down that road. But I'm in a devilish mood, and I need my Reaper Kickstarter Reveal fix for the day (or next couple hours...)...

EDIT: I just noticed I didn't even include the  in the speculation post, as was my intent....

I suspect that if anyone expresses more than mild disappointment about any of the stretch goals (e.g. "aww, I was hoping for X"), they'll be quickly brought back to reality and reminded what a good deal it already was without the stretch goals.

I am not looking at the Kickstarter comments because of this :)
