There's new speculation on the KS comments that Rautheros will be a freebie!

Granted, I'm one of the ones that is doing the speculating...

Based on the pattern established so far, this is very likely.

It's hard to speculate on a pattern when the next incentive is a freebie and a buy-in option.

I wonder if Reaper would mind us getting the Undertaker level if one were planning on selling the extras online (oh, say, eBay perhaps) or if one would like to open up a comic/hobby shop sometime in the future and/or possibly as an important future investment?

But then again.. I've noticed the vampire level gets an extra mini every time they're added, but undertaker only gets 2. If this kept going, then 3 vampire levels would actually yield more minis than the undertaker level.

Just kinda discussing it. I'm not really sure the undertaker level is all that profitable. From what I've seen so far, the $110 Sophie set and Ebonwrath seems to be the best investment options, if one were participating purely for profit. :B):

Edit: The 5x reapercon sophie set is worth $85+, so I can only imagine what a set of 9x sophies would be worth. Probably $150+. But I'm thinking Ebonwrath will sell for $20+. Decisions decisions...

Edit 2: Don't look at me like I'm being greedy. I'm jobless so I have to consider these sorta things. ::P:

They have already stated that although the Undertaker level is designed for retailers they have no way of controlling it. In other words they have to honor any pledge at that level.

If you EVER get into Warhammer eBay will be your best friend :)

It's one of those games I'm content to play on 'demo days'...nobody in my circles plays either. Same conundrum I'm in with RAGE-powered games...no players local, so they get repurposed for DnD and Battletech nights...a job they're quite good at!

Fair enough. ^_^

But hey at least you have DnD and Battle tech.

I do not have a battle tech group in my area.

Where's your area?

Northern Utah - Ogden / Roy / Clear field area

I live in the Roy Area.

We play Battletech most Tuesdays at End Zone. PM me for details.

OT: I'm hoping Rauthuros's stone has some demon warriors as freebies, with the option to purchase the big guy.

With the recent unveil having a freebie and a pay for option, that's changed the previous established pattern. The next tombstone should now be a freebie, meaning the winged tombstone will be a pay for.

Gosh, the Kickstarter is climbing so quickly...

It was. Up until about an hour ago anyway.

Since then it's been slooooow.

So, which current Bones models are not going to be a part of the Kickstarter? This obviously means that I need to buy the ones I won't be getting.

From what I can tell you would probably be safe to go ahead and get the unique singles. 4 out of 6 multi-packs are already in the kickstarter. The orcs aren't in it yet, so it's hard to make a call on those.. but the $25 KS orcs are so much more epic anyway. ::D: Then again, the black orcs are better equipped than most player characters... maybe you do need the orc spearmen and archers pack.

I was a little surprised to not see this already here.  I just got a 48 hour notification on a game called "Lurkers of the Deep" - it's apparently an expansion to a miniatures game, but in addition to the game they're also selling a bunch of 20s/30s pulp/cthulhu style minis.  (And a number of buildings, too.)  I'm not interested in the game, but I put down a 30 pound pledge to get a bunch of the figures and get the various free stretch goals figures.

There's only another 46 or so hours left, so I guess that means it ends early on March 1st.

My partner for the Secret Sophie exchange this year was NecroMancer and they requested demons or some other stuff, so I painted the Queen of Hell.  About the same time I had ordered a 3D printer and I had found a base that kind of matched an idea I had in my head.  The printer was going to ship on time, then it wasn't, then it was, and finally came in just in time to print my display base. It is from the celestial pack by Archvillain Games. It's 100mm plus some overhang. For a bit of additional flair I added some blood imps to the base.

One thing about pre-made display bases though is they can be next to impossible to actually use if they are not designed well.  This base is an example of that as there is so much rubble that I had to carve away spaces for feet or build up the area with a bit of milliput to give them something to stand on. Since ancient statues were actually painted I decided to go with that and put a simple face on the bit of statue that remained.

The Queen was actually painted before my printer arrived and because things hadn't gone crazy at work yet, I actually had time to paint her properly.  I went for a stylized NMM on her armor.  It was the first time I had tried NMM this way.  It worked but I need some more practice to really sell it.  I didn't want her to look like some cheap plastic figure (even though she kinda is ) so instead of going red like the blood imps I made her skin mostly human and then put the orange/red/purples in the midtones and shadows.

Her wings don't fit in my tiny photo setup so...

And with wings. They were not attached for shipping and needed a bit of support, so ignore the paint bottle.  Bones are evil.  Mold lines suddenly appear everywhere.  And for better or for worse, a year from now her wings will sink toward the earth, but they should rotate and touch the base.

A few extra pics I took, if anyone wants to look

I have me a bit of a dubious, largely because I'm not certain these will, in fact, work for anybody. But. Still.. the concept is pretty damn cool.

"Tilt Five is a whole new way to play games, in Augmented Reality (AR), with freaking holograms!
When you slip on the Tilt Five glasses and look at the game board, a vibrant 3D world opens up to you.  Suddenly chasms seem to drop infinitely into your table, and game characters and monsters spring up from the game board.  This is gaming unlike anything you've experienced before.
"When we started designing the Tilt Five system our focus wasn't on the technology for technology's sake.  We wanted to provide an amazing gaming experience that blends the things you love about video games and board games. And we wanted it to be just as fun when playing solo, together with your friends, or even when you're apart."  Jeri Ellsworth, Co-Founder & CEO "

Be interesting to see if this lives up to itself.

In October of 2018, Dog Might released the first fully sculpted GM Screen, the Valhalla Screen. Since then, we have released over 30 more designs, including officially licensed screens for: Pathfinder, Call of Cthulhu, and Vampire: The Masquerade. We have also designed screens for you favorite shows, such as Relics and Rarities and the Critical Role stream of Undeadwood. Over the last year and a half, our Valhalla Screens have proven to be our most sought after product. "

... Would it surprise anybody here to know I want one?
If I can't have one, at least I can spread the word. ;p
