All your Bones are belong to us!

Reaper, you really need to add another block of 5 'VIP at Reaper for a week' pledges. The are high value, went fast and there are still more folks that want them.

Other Kickstarters have added new blocks of the same pledge that proved popular. I can't recall which it was at the moment, but one added at least 2-3 additional blocks of the same pledge as it kept selling out.

I guess I'll be making a Bones order soon... Need practice painting miniatures for the blizzard of Bones coming in early spring.

I've been hoping that squar tombestone would be a case. I've needed a carrying case for a long time, but they've always been so expensive that I've chosen to buy more minis instead. Now I'm definately going to pledge and add the $25 for the case with the hope that we make it (no reason we shouldn't). I'll need something to carry all of these lovelies in when I take them to game night. It'll also be nice for taking stuff to painting competitions.

I really hope that the case we get comes stamped with the Bones Supporter logo- that would be an added layer of cool. And it would make our cases all special and unique and stuff :D

My 40k auctions ended yesterday, final payment was just made, so I'll be pledging on Kickstarter sometime today!

Since Reaper Con is the month after the Kickstarter "ships", I wonder if they could give you the option of picking up your 'winnings' there instead of shipping them, or would that cause to much of a logistics headache...

We can totally do that.

Well, considering that the original goal was $30k.... and that's the SAME AMOUNT it needs to CLIMB to reach the next stretch goal...

The stretch goals are mostly $25k, aren't they? Or do you know something the rest of us don't?!:angry::;):

Disregard...I got what you meant just as I hit send...

I'd say that the Case reveal definitely motivated some people to pledge. Even though we are currently working on a 25K goal in the middle weeks of the KS, we're on pace to knock it off in about 24 hours.

Haven't been this excited since my advent calendar when I was like 6.

Can't see it raising less than 450K even if it slows down dramatically, I'd say we most probably will see well over 500K.

Also we reached 12 stretch goals so far by going 230K over the goal. If they don't start increasing the amount needed for goals a lot more than they have it seems we are on track to open the delicious mausoleum.

Beyond the stretch goal reveals, the "end game" for this is now what I am most looking forward to. I anticipate the last few days to be nothing short of insanity, as people who have been holding out finally make their pledges, as well as all the people adjusting their pledges up to get the stretch goal items they want included with their existing pledge. It should be a wild ride at the end. ::):

I'm kind of afraid I'm going to miss out at the end. I've already pledged the max I can afford, and I know by the time this ends, I won't have pledged enough for ALL the options I want, even though I have a "spare" $40 still in my pledge right now.

Yeah, definitely. Those cases look nice. They caused me to trigger my own pledge by $50.

I was a little surprised to not see this already here.  I just got a 48 hour notification on a game called "Lurkers of the Deep" - it's apparently an expansion to a miniatures game, but in addition to the game they're also selling a bunch of 20s/30s pulp/cthulhu style minis.  (And a number of buildings, too.)  I'm not interested in the game, but I put down a 30 pound pledge to get a bunch of the figures and get the various free stretch goals figures.

There's only another 46 or so hours left, so I guess that means it ends early on March 1st.

My partner for the Secret Sophie exchange this year was NecroMancer and they requested demons or some other stuff, so I painted the Queen of Hell.  About the same time I had ordered a 3D printer and I had found a base that kind of matched an idea I had in my head.  The printer was going to ship on time, then it wasn't, then it was, and finally came in just in time to print my display base. It is from the celestial pack by Archvillain Games. It's 100mm plus some overhang. For a bit of additional flair I added some blood imps to the base.

One thing about pre-made display bases though is they can be next to impossible to actually use if they are not designed well.  This base is an example of that as there is so much rubble that I had to carve away spaces for feet or build up the area with a bit of milliput to give them something to stand on. Since ancient statues were actually painted I decided to go with that and put a simple face on the bit of statue that remained.

The Queen was actually painted before my printer arrived and because things hadn't gone crazy at work yet, I actually had time to paint her properly.  I went for a stylized NMM on her armor.  It was the first time I had tried NMM this way.  It worked but I need some more practice to really sell it.  I didn't want her to look like some cheap plastic figure (even though she kinda is ) so instead of going red like the blood imps I made her skin mostly human and then put the orange/red/purples in the midtones and shadows.

Her wings don't fit in my tiny photo setup so...

And with wings. They were not attached for shipping and needed a bit of support, so ignore the paint bottle.  Bones are evil.  Mold lines suddenly appear everywhere.  And for better or for worse, a year from now her wings will sink toward the earth, but they should rotate and touch the base.

A few extra pics I took, if anyone wants to look

I have me a bit of a dubious, largely because I'm not certain these will, in fact, work for anybody. But. Still.. the concept is pretty damn cool.

"Tilt Five is a whole new way to play games, in Augmented Reality (AR), with freaking holograms!
When you slip on the Tilt Five glasses and look at the game board, a vibrant 3D world opens up to you.  Suddenly chasms seem to drop infinitely into your table, and game characters and monsters spring up from the game board.  This is gaming unlike anything you've experienced before.
"When we started designing the Tilt Five system our focus wasn't on the technology for technology's sake.  We wanted to provide an amazing gaming experience that blends the things you love about video games and board games. And we wanted it to be just as fun when playing solo, together with your friends, or even when you're apart."  Jeri Ellsworth, Co-Founder & CEO "

Be interesting to see if this lives up to itself.

"You take your game seriously. Now it's time for a serious screen.
In October of 2018, Dog Might released the first fully sculpted GM Screen, the Valhalla Screen. Since then, we have released over 30 more designs, including officially licensed screens for: Pathfinder, Call of Cthulhu, and Vampire: The Masquerade. We have also designed screens for you favorite shows, such as Relics and Rarities and the Critical Role stream of Undeadwood. Over the last year and a half, our Valhalla Screens have proven to be our most sought after product. "

... Would it surprise anybody here to know I want one?
If I can't have one, at least I can spread the word. ;p
