What great news to start my day with! I'm in at the vampire level and look forward to more fantastic miniatures. I've also sent it to my local gaming groups and store.

 

This one is a no brainer!

The minis look great :) but just curious what people use them for? Other than dnd, do you know any good dungeon bash system?

There are a number of Old School Revolution (OSR) products that fit that bill and some other games, however it is the wrong side of midnight for me so I will have to leave it to someone else to list games other than DnD/Pathfinder, Castles & Crusades, and Warrior, Rogue, Mage.

Savage Worlds' fantasy, Castles & Crusades, True 20, Pathfinder, Ars Magica. Heck, elsewhere on Kickstarter there's a zillion fantasy RPG Products - http://rpgkickstarters.tumblr.com/ there's a list of the ones that were user-submitted to enworld.

 

People also use them as pawns in games such as Descent, or nay board game with a pawn - you could have the knights chasing the orcs in monopoly if you wanted!

I just went in at $75. I wanted the Ghast and Mummy levels. It only let me select Mummy and there was no comment field that I could find to indicate that I wanted the Ghast level as well. How was I supposed to do that?

Pledge the combined total. Select one of the reward levels. After the KS ends a survey goes out.

 

On the survey indicate you want mummy + ghast

I've just been reading through the Vortex miniature game system. It looks pretty promising.

A few bucks shy of $21,500 as of the writing of this post...not bad for something that's only been running a day.

 

I only have one problem...Are you guys willing to accept a 'late kick'? I'm down for dropping $238 for Vampire, Urban Legend, and Sophie Harem, but barring some sort of miracle I'm probably not going to have $238 by 8/25. I should be able to do one of the big-ticket pair (Vampire or Harem) by then, extenuating circumstances notwithstanding, but don't think I'll be able to do all of it before the deadline.

I understand that a mechanism for such could be in place by the time it would be relevant, but I am not 100% certain. If you could ask again later, It would help.

 

That's a far better response than the 'nope, not happening' I was afraid of; figured it was a shot in the dark, but that it didn't hurt to ask. Assuming I remember, I'll touch base in early August.

 

And crap, I just saw the 70k stretch goal. This kickstarter's gonna get expensive fast, but that's a good thing. :D

I would love it if there was a Ghast+Mummy+Stretch goals level. It may be sacrilegious for me to say so, but I really don't care to have a Sophie, but I really want the plastics and the stretch goals. Come on, how about a Draugur level?

I've noticed that almost all the CAV incentive levels have been purchased... Not so subtle hinting by those contributing?

Yeah, if I wasn't putting most of my free money into a new business, that silver Ogre would have been mine.

In fact, I'd make that pretty much a standing offer for anyone that buys in at Vampire for the stretch goal rewards but doesn't want the Sophie. Just pop me an IM, and we'll work out the details.
