For just $25 more, you can totally play Kargir (well, ok, that's a lie. you have to buy one of the Bones gnolls so you have enough leaders).

I'm not too hot on the trans green either, but I think primer should be able to fix that!

 

How are folks planning on painting (completely, partially or not) the trans red and green minis?

So.... the $100 Vampire level is up to 106 figures. Too bad it's not something I could make an army out of.

 

Any thoughts of adding some Warlord Love at some level?

 

With the options you can totally play Kargir, or Reven, all in Bones. Also Necropolis is doable with the undead options in this, and soon we'll have Rauthuros. :devil:

And who among us would NOT? Some part of me thought it might be fun to have the Razig flag until it occurred to me to wonder where I'd PUT it. I've SEEN the thing, last Reapercon. You could use it for a slipcover for my APARTMENT building...

 

You could always hire someone to turn it into a set of bed sheets. xD

Maybe some yellow for the eyes on the elementals. And I'll paint up the tombstone on the wraith, but other than that, I thnk they'll be just fine as-is.

 

Ooh! I hadn't even thought of the 'non-spectral' parts! Painting those will make the translucence stand out even more!

I'll probably just ink them for definition.

 

Very few of my Bones are going to get painstaking paint jobs...

If you wanted to go crazy I can see painting most of the model, leaving some rims of transparency here and there, and then using the LED trick looking kickass.

Hey, has anyone posted this on Reddit? There's lots of subreddits that would love this. I wouldn't even know where to put it, as I'm kinda new there, but it's got huge audience potential.

I've been planning on trying it on some of the transparents from the D&D boardgames for a while. Haven't even gotten the LEDs yet though :P

If I ever do I'll try to remember to post the results here.
