I don't know, but I've got a sneaking feeling that the Mausoleum coorelates to bringing the Bones inside, i.e. to Denton. It would seem apropo.

Wouldn't that be really fantastic. Speculation can be fun, but I will refrain and just enjoy the ride. :)

OK - We met initial funding in 30 hours. We made our 50K stretch goal in EXACTLY 24 hours (and 15 minutes!).

Any bets on the next goal?

After checking, there's a few places where that's not quite accurate. I can tell you we have planned that for the entire first map, we will show 2 goals at once, and one is always free and one is Optional. Every other one.

I *think* we keep the same pattern once inside the crypt, but It is late and, while I'm pumped and excited right now, I'm not 100% sure.

Not sure if you want to open the speculation but I have some ideas on the upcoming unveilings.

I just don’t know if I should express my thoughts as it could ruin the surprise. May I try to guess?

We will not quash speculation, but speculation *can* lead to dissapointment if the ideas you have get more people excited than the ideas *we* had. Then again, playing the guessing game can be really fun, too!

CAV would be better served as separate Kickstarter project. It will probably take some really big numbers to get them involved with this one. But, you never know! Never say never, right?

Just the fact that it's a possibility makes me happy!

Oh, and howzabout chronoscope? NOVA Troopers?

By way of explanation. I don't have much use for the fantasy miniatures, but I would love a stack of Chronoscope minis. Maybe a parellel goal? Fantasy or Sci-fi, you pick?

And no, I haven't funded yet.

So I'd love to do the visit Reaper HQ thing but the cost and the amount of days just are something I'm having trouble dealing with (getting 5 days off of work will be hard) so if I sent you guys an email would you entertain the idea of a 2 or 3 day package?

The minis look great :) but just curious what people use them for? Other than dnd, do you know any good dungeon bash system?

I personally go for Savage Worlds fantasy, as it's a very miniatures-oriented game that adapts well to "skirmish-level" wargaming (with their "Showdown" rules), and I'm really into miniatures and scenery. It's a very different dynamic from D&D's hit points and such, so in my personal opinion it works best in a "swashbuckling" or "pulp" style where you have a handful of heroes (and henchmen -- who are easily-enough handled) fighting off swarms of lesser minions (be they wild dogs, ninjas, pirates, zombies, orcs, alien xenomorphs, killer robots, or whatever).

"Wild Cards" such as the heroes or major "boss fight" bad guys are a bit more detailed, and we keep track of wound levels for them, but the low-level "Extras" are either up or they're down, without any hit-point tallies to keep track of, in between. You can tell you're making progress against the horde based on how many miniatures the GM is taking off the table, and the GM can resolve Extra-vs.-Extra attacks by rolling a handful of dice to handle several attacks at once. Under certain other systems, such fights would end up taking the rest of the game night, because of all the bookkeeping required for each and every goblin, etc.

That's one reason I'm personally a lot more interested in Bones as a cheaper source for being able to get lots of minis to represent low-powered opponents in mass-quantities, versus having to spend $6 a pop for each and every orc and zombie. And, hey, they've got plastic orcs and zombies now! Huzzah!

For that. as much as I would love to tell you "pledgepledgepledge", It would be disingenuous of me. You would probably be better off spending a weekend at ReaperCon as an attendee, meeting us, taking tours, playing games and painting classes/sculpting classes with us, etc. It's not as focused, but it's a great weekend!

How about a hint at the funding level of {REDACTED}? Or will it be a separate kickstarter?

Yes. It will pick up once people think that the giant goal will be achievable and everyone adds $10 to their pledge and then it will drop off. There probably won't be huge growth again until the KS gets close to the end or one of the stretch goals becomes really awesome, like a dragon or something, as a lot of people fence sit on these things.

I got all sorts of happy when you guys busted out Rauthuros as one of the first extra models in the Kickstarter video. Now I just need to find out how to get an extra 1k to get the Minis for a Year! level.

Tell me about it, If I had 4k available to spend, I would certainly buy two or three shares from the expensive ones.

Oh well, I guess I will have to satisfy myself with a Vampire share (at least it comes with a Sophie in a motorcycle)
