Moderator TaleSpinner Posted July 30, 2012 Moderator Share Posted July 30, 2012 Well, I finally got this guy finished, from armature, to casting, to paint. It is pretty awesome to have taken this guy full circle and I am very proud of it. For those of you who don't know, I sculpted this as my first sculpt over a year ago. I chronicled that journey in this WIP. You can follow the painting in this WIP. So, without further ado, here are the final shots (click on the pictures for full size): Comments, questions, and critiques are welcome. Metalchaos
He’s absolutely amazing! It’s a real awesome version of this dungeon dwelling monster. Your paint job is very beautiful too and I like the idea of the stalagmite as a stand.

Moderator TaleSpinner Posted July 30, 2012 Author Moderator Share Posted July 30, 2012 Wow, thanks for the compliments and support everyone. so.... what's your next model, eh? Can't really say. I have a few done and sold already, but you'll have to wait for them to be anounced by the mfgr. As for what I am working on, well again, if I want to sell it, I'll need to keep that between my client and I. I'm typically working about 6 months ahead of release, give or take a month or two. Reaper has my Animal Companions (Warthog, Vulture, and Sloth) in Preview right now.

Mrs.Fizzes
Admittedly, this is what actually got me wanting to sculpt. When I was younger, my older brother used to play war hammer, and that was my first taste of mini painting. Unfortunately, I didn't understand that there was pinning, and putting together models, so when I bought my own things, I didn't get too far on them. When I did get interested in them again a while back (thank you Citrine), I hadn't even thought about sculpting until I saw this guy's WIP. It's really awesome to see him finished now. :)
