buglips*the*goblin
Oh, I don't think you should retire. That seems a little extreme. I rather liked your quick n' dirty picture on the worktable. Also, I think that's the first time I've ever actually seen one of Natalya's miniatures. Usually I'm too busy looking at Natalya. Man, the shading on her is fantastic. (also, anybody else notice that the music in the background of their DVD trailers sounds a little . . . know what I mean?)

Lastman
Holy... *retires* Noooo! Somewhere on the intarwebz there is a pic of her first figure--an orc i think. Sometimes inspirational pics can be crushing so... baby steps. We are here for you. Hugs
buglips*the*goblin
You, sir, have won yourself a cookie. I have Mint Oreos, Danish Butter, or some mindblowingly awesome peanut butter that my friend's wife made.
Arachne
I know, I know. Thanks for the support :) Deep breathing. I used to say "I will never be able to do that"...but my painting has improved a lot, where even I can see it, so now when I see something that totally bowls me over, I say "I aspire to that." Only been painting since Feb 2011. I'm young, I have nimble fingers, good eyesight, and boundless patience. I aspire to that. Edit: and soon to have a bottomless pit of practice minis. That should help, too.
jbarron2006
I usually start with an orange base coat and use yellow for the top.

VileKnight
Lazlo's old web site and the link is for painting fire. http://hot-lead.org/advance/fire.htm This is perfect. I was about to make this same mistake that he talks about on the mini that Arachne posted. Glad I caught this! :) Thanks for the link.
