The minotaur and bugbear have been taunting me now for a couple of weeks (I have the prepainted versions of both) but I don't think my willpower is going to last much longer. I really shouldn't be buying more minis, I have a couple hundred unpainted metals I need to get taken care of before I'm flooded with Bones.

**raises hand sheepishly** Ordered the ogre, bugbear, gnoll, dwarf, and human fighter so I'll have some Bones to work on while I wait for the big pack to come in... I've got a lot of unpainted pewter this whole KS shebang has me wanting to paint up, that I had kinda planned on painting when I got home anyway, but I wanted to be sure that my techniques/equipment would work with the Bones.

...that's what I keep telling myself, anyway. >_<

I still haven't told my wife about this. I'm kinda hoping they arrive before I do, so she can get used to it, and I'm kinda hoping they get home after I do, so I can take a chance and hide them from her... "What, these? I always had these..."

I saw the Orc Archers and realized they were exactly what I needed for my GW LotR army (there is no way I am spending $30 for 6 orcs when I can buy them for $10 from a company I actually like). Took a while to figure out how to make them not unreasonably large and appear out of scale (turns out putting a pre-sculpted broccoli base on a standard black 1" disc makes them really tall) but I like them already.

I also will be getting some wurms this week, because I really want to have some wurms to throw at my PCs when I run D&D this school year!

I went down to my local store Dragon's Lair for the werewolf, the troll, the bugbear, the minotaur and the ogre but I was too late.

All they had left were the skeletons (I have buckets of those) and a dwarf. I thought about getting a pre-painted minotaur but of the prepaints they had I was only interested in the werewolf. I might have got the gnoll I guess. So what I did instead was bought the 2010 Mantic box set of the four metal Hasslefree zombie hunters and a metal Nova Corp Sergeant. Which is silly because now I'll have two on them in March. I was also looking at the Panze Afe for incursion but I liked the zombie hunters and Nova Corp sarge better.

I think I may be subconciously collecting Fallout compatible figures. If so I need to get some zombies, scorpions, and the mega mutant now that I have a team of packin' survivors to shoot them with.

I felt a little guilty that I traded away kickstarter Sophie for some dragons and uglies and CTHULHU.

I mean.. Cthulhu is Cthulhu, you just got to have him, but he does seriously lack in the succubust department.

So the next thing I know there's an order for Halloween Sophie in a kitty outfit, with my address on it. Oh no, am I seriously going to start painting/converting again? I have a life to live!

Have to say, I received and unboxed an order of bones just two hours before the KS closed. Purple worm, orc archers, orc spearmen, troll, minotaur, gnoll, bugbear, and werewolf... Had to pick 'em up to get a little taste of the greatness to come. This is nothing compared to all the metal I still have to paint... It's a vicious cycle, I paint minis because I buy them, and I buy them because I paint.

Me too. Gotta brush up (pun intended) on mah skeelz before the megaton drops next March.

Wow, next March!

Weird to think we'll all be mostly through winter by the time these start coming in.
