Got a few in the mail a few day ago (international). Really like them, much better than metal and hard plastic ones IMO. Hoping to hit them with a bit of grey purple magic wash tonight to bring out the details.

Cheers

Awesome. You'll have to let us know how they turn out. According to the delivery tracker, I should have mine on Friday. I'll get to introduce my fiance to the painting fun then.

...

Still waiting

I'm sorry you had a bad experience Badocter, often humidity can cause that cloudiness issue, it's amazingly bad luck that your only time had this happen. Many of us spray hundreds of models before we encounter it.

I'm am in southeast Texas....the humidity is always high.

Humidity is fairly high where I live too (96% as I write), much to the agony of my arthritic dog. :( It could be worth checking with the locals on when they use matte varnish sprays. There is probably a range that is safe, and the hobbiests will be the ones to know.

Good luck,

Eric

I got my order from miniature-giant in a couple days ago (backordered, and then delayed again because I wanted to add another backorder item). I know it's not one of the bones, but it's one of my first minis ever and the first one of my own I'll be using in a weekly game.

Nice job! But that base looks so empty...

Had a friend try doing a flaming shot. He made the rather bad mistake of not blowing it out before drinking. Flames poured down his face and puddles were ignited on the floor and nearby sink. He was a total trooper, though, and drank every single drop he could get into his mouth. Only once he was finished did he put out the flames on his chin and hand. I took care of the flames on the floor and sink pretty quickly. It was magical.

I have a goatee (or a Van Dyke, actually). I'm now going to have nightmares tonight....

Thanks.

... So did he... Although, once he had the fire out, he was pleased with the length of the hair! It was like a flaming trim for his facial whiskers.
