Adrift
This is a character I'm playing in a local DND game right now. He's quickly become one of my all time favorites. It has been 4 months or more since I posted any work online, so please be gentle.
Lastman
That is an awesome paintjob. Nice nmm on the hammer, doesn't look all shiny and new. And that base! Very nice flagstones. I predict that will be copied by many people.
Kuro Cleanbrush
No need to ask us to be gentle with painting as good as that! I echo Lastman's praise on the hammer NMM, and I really like how you did the red!
Metalchaos
Excellent job, four months did not alter your dexterity level.
btannehill
Wow. Hammer is gorgeous, and I'd love to know how you painted the base to look like that.
Foose
Dat BASE! 9/10 would bang.
Thes Hunter
Excellent work my friend. I gotta say the white grout on the base really pops. LOoks like you did it in black, and then did a really nice clean line of white in there. The hammer is awesome as well like everyone else is commenting on. Now I feel self-concious showing off my shabby shiek little paint jobs in comparison to your fine fine work.
Stubbdog
nice bold colors for sure
Adrift
Thank you everyone! I appreciate the nice feedback. For the base I painted it a dark grey, and for the lines I used a white-grey color. I then blended a couple of shades of grey lighter than the dark grey and just tried to randomly splotch the floor to make it look like beat up stonework. malefactus
VERY WELL DONE! With such a large portion of the Guy being metal your LOVELY brushwork really shines. I love what you did with the base.
btannehill
DId you use green stuff to texture the floor first?
Adrift
I didn't actually, though I'm practicing with green stuff to be able to do that. In fact, the submission I'm working on for the summer paint contest uses a lot of green stuff on the base. The actual gase you see what something I purchased locally at a game store, and it has given me lots of good practice on how to make such a floor with green stuff.
