Glad you all enjoy the "Succubus Plus" as I affectionately referred to her until she received a proper name.

I bow to the fact that this was indeed inspired by DT's pinup of Holly Black but is an entirely different design altogether. I've been wanting to sculpt a piece like this since the mid 90s and now I felt I had the chops to do it right.

Thanks go to Ron for the recommendation on the Betty Paige hairstyle. It lends a lot to the appeal. Martin did a great job on the paint slinging!

Now go add Healthy is the New Skinny to your Likes list! :)

Just wait 'til she finds out how many are trading her in for more Bones...

I use my minis for tabletop, so most Sophies hold no appeal to me outside of collector purposes, when there is the potential of upwards to 17000 sophies on a motorcycle out there, Im pretty sure its collectability rating will go way down (what is the normal run for a reapercon Sophie for example?)

It depends. The 2004 through 2006 were super hard to come by because you had to be there to buy it. They started offering Sophie online during the convention in 2007 so her collectability has dropped. Plus there was the pre-Liche Sophie set offered a couple years ago that had those hard to find Sophies. I wouldn't really consider any Sophie an investment any longer.

Heh - given that I have held the T. DT Holly Black Succubus in my head for years, I will not complain about any similarity. ::): I agree, the Betty Page hair works well.

Rubinesque is another apt description, methinks.

T. DT used to have a fair number of satyrs and succubi on his site, before becoming an illustrator for children's books.
