Stubbdog
So, this was the mini I chose to paint up for the summer 2012 mini exchange. Inarah was my victim er, I mean recipient. Its getting killed over on CMoN but then again, I guess that is to be expected as its not female or nekkid. Anyway, I was pretty happy with him, except for my never ending attempts to try to bring the highlights out even more. If you should care to go vote, I am pretty sure the link to my gallery is still in my sig below. Thanks for looking. Jason
recruittons
It's stunning! I love the way you made his face, shoulder, and back hair such a light color. It's unusual, but it makes it feel like a big yeti-man, which is something I haven't seen. Thank you for sharing and I gave it a 9 on CMON
buglips*the*goblin
He frightens me! Seriously, he looks awesome. I wouldn't worry about the CMON ratings, because when I browse through there the one constant is a complete lack of consistency. I see good work getting 5's and garbage getting 7's+. The rating system is inherently meaningless. This is why I'm going to have a lot of fun when I put my randomly-colored mini up on there and assault some eyeballs.
Miar
Like this one a lot. Looking at the bare Bones of this figure (which is almost the same sculpt) I didn't really like it but with this paint job I'm finding I want to paint one up. I don't know if I'll be able to wait until March for Bones or I'll have to order some!
MonkeySloth
I like him a lot especially the muted colors as they work quite well and are a bit realistic. The only thing that stands out as off is the feet because that part of the base doesn't match the rest (understand why). I don't really care for CMoN's rating system mostly because I really don't care what random people think of my painting. I post my stuff here, on Facebook and a few other places where I know people but outside of that I paint for myself so there's no real appeal for me to go on to every site possible to post my stuff. If you're happy with it that's what matters.
Adrift
I love what you've done with this miniature. Nice work! I don't submit anything to CMoN for the same reasons cited by MonkeySloth and buglips.
Nocturne
Really great work, nice colour choice for the skin and hair.
DrakeSpirit
this should really go in the inspiration gallery. That guy is sitting on my desk as my next project and I just havent figured out what to do. Looking at yours though has given me some excellent ideas, I especially like the red arm and leg guard, it really gives it a sort of flourish. Atramagus
That is an awesome paint job, I especially love the details in the bits of armor! The only things of note are the stones he is standing on, which look a bit awkward with your base, and the fact that his weapon is too clean hehe. CashWiley
I think it looks great. I won't post on CMoN, either, because unless you're a top end painter, they seem to just beat people up rather than try to help. At least on the ratings part, the forum might be a bit better. I really like the leather strap, it looks so worn. The bronze really looks like the perfect metal for that, and the red gives it some vibrancy and really ties it together, men. I'm also a sucker for pupil-less monster eyes, it's how my friends always painted them back in the day (late 70s/early 80s). Only criticism I can come up with is the studded strap on the right shoulder could use a bit more definition. I like the rusty look of it, and I'm too newb to know how to make it better :)
Inarah
The photos don't do it justice. The colors are richer and the textures better executed than they appear in those pictures.
joshuaslater
Looks as brutal as he's supposed to. Kings to you!

Revenge cometh in a few hours. They shall rue the day their cone cells were sufficiently developed to distinguish pink and yellow!
