TheAuldGrump
Great, now I have an urge to get another of the Storm Giant sets and sculpt some dollar bills into her garters.... The Auld Grump

Ampersandrew
Whats with all the extra swords on these sculpts? A dwarf wizard dosn't need one and the female fighter is holding a sword and shield, hardly needs another one sheathed and looking like an uncomfortable place to store it, right in front. That sword in the front looks like a scabbard to me.
MrJohnston
Well I like the Dwarven wizard and female fighter. But then I am very old school and play Dragon Quest (well our much evolved version of it, multi-GM environment been running continuously for over 25 years). Girot
My party has a habbit of accidentilly throwing their weapons. That extra sword (cuz an empty scabard doesn't have a hilt sticking out of it) would be damn handy.
Sanael
Fantasy literature is full of wizards with swords, starting with our venerable source material in Gandalf. Elminster (one of the more egregious Gandalf clones) also used one frequently. The dwarf looks an awful lot like a wizard in the same "sage/harbinger" vein as Gandalf, so he could very easily be bearing that sword to the next great hero of the realm. Historically speaking, it's quite easy to lose a sword in the heat of battle, whether because it was torn from her grip, broken, or simply dropped due to exhaustion. Why not carry an additional weapon? It's a shorter, stouter blade which would be useful in mounted combat (more likely to cut through bone and armor, rather than get stuck, more a slashing than a piercing weapon so she doesn't end up with an infantry-kabob at the end of a charge), and (moving into our fantasy adventure-realm) it'd be great for moving through dense forest or jungle. Also very nice for close combat (dungeon or castle hallways, although I'd personally rather have a more thrusty weapon for that work). So these seem quite sensible. Now, if you want to complain about "too many weapons," then I suggest the late, great, Magnificent Ego's "Minmaximus the Fighter." It is kinda the point(s), but there's a mini with too much crap.
cthulhudarren
Fantasy literature is full of wizards with swords, starting with our venerable source material in Gandalf. This. Wizards in Dungeon Crawl Classics RPG can use swords. I'm glad it's there.

DonTheDime
I recall Martin Jones mentioning working with the swamp troll, or seeing it, or something, so hopefully sometime soon we will get to see pictures of it, as well as the others (the pirate, the other hero, etc.; not to mention the Addons that were concepts). Slendertroll
I'm waffling on picking up the clockwork dragon, myself. Some sculpt pics might tip the scales. Just sayin'.
"That Guy"
I am indeed in possession of a certain swamp troll, and pirates, and other stuff. The dragons and Cthulhu are being worked on still.
