Wyrmgear is a much better name than Vermaclox. Not so impressed by the sculpt, looks a little too static, but it might just be the angle of the photo. But I don't think I've ever seen a model dragon that I wasn't kinda meh on (except maybe the Heresy Dragon from Heresy Miniatures).

The Tiilk Champion is super badass though.

Hmm... Not sure what to make of Clocky.

Hopefully theres going to be more detail added. Im sure many people will be happy with it, but for me it has (so far) lost a lot of personality in the transition from concept to sculpt. The change in pose Im not a big fan of... the tail in the concept has a very smooth curve, while this one has a number of abrupt changes in angle that seem very small-animal-ish.

And, its hard to see from the angle... but... Has it also developed an overbite? The curve of the teeth and the angle of the fin make it look like the lower jaw stops barely halfway along the top jaw.

Whoever's answering questions in the KS comments has said that this is pretty much final. They won't be adding more detail. They did say the tail was extended like that so it would be easy to reposition; you aren't meant to leave it that way.

Yeah, Ive just been reading that now... Disappointing. The overbite is really annoying me now that Ive noticed it.

Wyrmgear was an awesome name.

If he gets made in metal, I will fashion him a nameplate.

McNODD & SONS

STEAMWORKS

Is that Noddy McNodd of the Bristol McNodds?! I haven't spoken to him in a donkey's age!

Nay, Roddy McNodd of the Northumberland McNodds. Related to Old Missus Kendrick out of Madeupinghamshire.

Mm. I think they made the right decision on the detail level. This is going to be a 'busy' model once it's painted, so adding even more visual clutter might not be a good idea.

And if you want more detail, you can always add it yourself (if it helps, last time I looked Hasslefree were selling little bags of watch parts for steampunking your models)

Now I can't not see that overbite!

Also not a fan of the transition from concept to sculpt on clocky. I guess if the goal is to ship on time the quality is going to suffer or items are getting dropped, like the elves.

The current timeframe probably doesn't give Reaper time to ask the sculptors to tweak the sculpture or redo parts, if they take the time to notice them in the first place. I'd rather Reaper just say that given the success of the campaign that March is not reasonable because we want quality to trump the date.

What, not Barrow and Furness, the famous Wrymfounders?

For some reason I'm thinking Wyrmgyr is a better spelling. Sort of makes me think of Wales when I see a name with only "y" as vowels. Lots of good castles in Wales....Cardiff, Harlech, Beaumaris, Conwy, Powis, Caernarfon, Caerphilly...and the list goes on and on

See, now, I totally had a smartaleck reply cooked up and then Jeremy Clarkson invaded my head and said: "Tonight, on WyrmGear, I find out if a horseless carriage can really outrun a steam-powered bat . . . James May takes a look at a captured Martian War Machine . . . Richard Hammond tests out a turbine-shafted Landwalker from Italy . . . and Jules Verne is our star in a reasonably priced balloon gondola."

Am I the only one who thinks this castle looks very angry?
