TheAuldGrump
Thanks! I will do so - and I will admit that being labeled a 'troll' for not liking what could have been a cool figure but wasn't (in my opinion) did not in any way endear me to the model. It kind of tipped the balance. The Auld Grump, a troll? Me? EAT CLUB! *THUD!*
CashWiley
FYI the balance of all Cthulhu minis cancelled between now and March come to me. Also, Nethyrmaul is going to be riding a tiny trike with a pointy hat, seltzer bottle and cream pie....and NO BOW. So choose wisely.
thatguywiththeface
It's not quite what I would have envisioned Cthulhu as, but it's still pretty damn cool. But, then, everyone envisions Cthulhu differently. He is, after all, a nine-dimensional being confined tenuously through our sensory organs and mind to our narrow, three-dimensional perception. burnsides
I need to buy a boat miniature so I can run C'thulhu's butt over with it.
TheAuldGrump
Yep, you can. Mine was just reset. I think you can still just PM Kit to have your RPM reset. He was indeed a gentleman and a scholar, my thanks to both of you and to Kit. The Auld Grump
TheAuldGrump
I need to buy a boat miniature so I can run C'thulhu's butt over with it. Try Reviresco - they have a mixed media tramp steamer: The Auld Grump, there is a reason that Cthulhu and that model are linked in my head... someday... someday.... Dai-Mongar
I like him. Not sure what to do with him though. First thought is cut him off at the waist so he looks like he's wading and use him in a game of Man O War. Alternatively, he'd be a hell of a God in HotT. I was going to get some Starguard Troll suits from them anyway! Now, can you find me a roughly 28mm-32mm 'Mickey Mouse as Steamboat Willie' figure? For the wheel house? Either whistling with eyes closed or just vapidly open mouthed smiling would be fine. Doing stupid repetitive 'Rubber hose pipe' animation tricks with the legs and arms is acceptable too. ijewett
I like that steamer Grump might have to get one. Thanks for the link.

No, but I can find you a Donald Duck with a machine gun.... The Auld Grump
Pally
Cthulhu's body looks kinda like a potato sack, but overall I like it.
JoeGKushner
It's an interesting take on it. Between this one, RAFMs and the WIzkids, I'[m going with Wizkids as still the winner. I'd love to see osmeone do a take on the big guy where they really bring ou the dragon elements as opposed to the fat guy yelling at kids to get off his lawn.
Gailbraithe
The WizKids one is too big. I mean its just way, way too big. Its so big that if you put it on the table during a game, it just doesn't work. The WizKids Cthulhu (and the Galactus, and all those foot and half and taller "miniatures," including a lot of Adeptus Titanicus kitbashes) are just so much larger than the miniatures they interact with that it feels like you've put a toy on the table. Like maybe you're using a He-Man figure as a giant. I think eight or nine inches is about as tall as a miniature can get and still feel like its in 28mm scale, and even then it has too have heavy, heavy proportions in order to fit in with 1" warriors. That's why I dug Talin's art for it so much, with that big elephantine body, and the announcement that it would be 8" tall. That's more than big enough to make players wet their pants with fear, and not so big it just sits on the table like a joke.

You, sir, have never played Apocalypse with the Legio Kindergartenicus. There is nothing more frightening and interactive with your minis than a 5 year old in a cardboard titan costume.
