TheAuldGrump
Given that the Big C is described as 'a mountain walked, or stumbled' a foot and a half is just a substitute for a critter of the proper proportions - the five year old sounds closer to scale. (And when let loose on a table full of miniatures is likely to demonstrate the proper amount of destruction....) The Auld Grump, use candy miniatures, to get the proper D6 Investigators devoured per round.
ced1106
I like him. Not sure what to do with him though. First thought is cut him off at the waist so he looks like he's wading and use him in a game of Man O War. Alternatively, he'd be a hell of a God in HotT. I'm guessing that the head and claws (?) can be separated, then you could make a new upper body for him. You mentioned water. Well, licorice kinda looks like water! Juicy Twists apparently come in green and blue colors. You can nuke licorice in the microwave to soften it. Not sure about long-term storage, but at least you can say, "And I ate Cthulhu. He tasted like sour green apples and blue raspberry". Meanwhile, here's a thread about 28mm sailing ships: http://www.lead-adventure.de/index.php?topic=24456.

Funny thing: the one I like best of those four is the one in the lower left-hand corner. It also happens to be the one most like the Reaper sculpt.... ~v
Qwyksilver
Mine threw itself off my bookcase and needs its wings reattached. Cthulu is Italian. He's fragile.
Exwilly
This is not an official response, however, I can tell you the following: The model ain't gonna change; time to build a bridge and get over it. ~v From my count the Big C has more supporters than trolls. That bridge is pretty much built AND big enough for the big guy himself to cross it. Cultists Fans or not, we'll all be consumed. Arguing at this point is pretty much just for sport. For the record, I haven't voiced my opinion until now, and it does look to me a bit like he's wearing a leather suit (possibly contributed to by the b/w photo), but there's still all kinds of awesome in this model. However, now, according to you, anyone that voices their disappointment with a sculpt is a troll? That's just sad, and I'll leave it at that... so your a troll then i presume

Gailbraithe
Not to stir the pot, but I've noticed that on these forums there is a tendency to see anyone who is hating on anything as a troll. These boards seem to operate heavily on the "If you can't say something nice, say nothing at all" rule, and if you say something not nice it will tend to provoke a negative reaction. So, in a sense, expressing a negative opinion on these boards is akin to trolling. Unless you're trashing GW. That appears to be okay with everyone.
