The Inner Geek
Awww. That's sweet. I want to fight with someone so we can become jovial pals in the end! *dukes up*
ijewett
Two days ago one closed on ebay for $95 + shipping. neat I'll keep an eye on Ebay then. Thanks, only ones I had seen were more expensive. I regretted never seeing that one till actual sales were over. Clix, you see, are a sign of the end of times. But Cthulhu even as a Clix is always required. Wouldn't stop me from buying this one though, or wishing I had the money at the time for more than one.

A couple months ago I saw one go for around $75 shipped. I think the trick is to catch several of them on ebay at once. It keeps the price down. TheAuldGrump
No, but I can find you a Donald Duck with a machine gun.... The Auld Grump Where did you find this? I want to team him up with my Smoking Bulldog wielding a BFG... ooooh!! even better! I found Scooby Doo in power armor wielding a Pulse Rifle!! He is from Black Scorpion Miniatures. :) I think that he was inspired by a pair of lines from The Dirty Dozen - 'And where's Donald Duck?' 'Donald Duck's down at the crossroads with a machine gun', or words to that effect. The Auld Grump *EDIT* The bulldog and the Scooby are from Hasslefree, I would guess? *EDIT 2* Yep, there they are! psyberwolfe1
Nor will it be the last time, I'm sure. But I'll still give you a game of Warlord any time you want. ~v Speaking of which are you coming to Millenium Con? If so we should see about sneaking a game in. Pingo
ooooh!! even better! I found Scooby Doo in power armor wielding a Pulse Rifle!! What is the source of this figure? It's a brand new sculpt from Hasslefree Miniatures. I think it was released earlier this week.
Pally
I do make some criticisms sometimes, but hopefully they are more constructive than hurtful to the sculptors.
TheAuldGrump
I think we should ask Kit to input some code so that, whenever somebody PMs Bryan, they receive an image macro of Wil Wheaton saying "Don't Be A Dick. Have you reviewed your message to Bryan? Are you being a dick? Are you sure you want to submit this?" and then a confirmation button. Actually, this might be a good idea for all PMs... 'Am I sure I want to submit this?'... Hmmm. Oh, yeah! I forgot that I want it all in caps! The Auld Grump, generally when I use all caps it means that i FORGOT THAT THE cAPS lOCK WAS ON....
TheAuldGrump
I do make some criticisms sometimes, but hopefully they are more constructive than hurtful to the sculptors. A problem kicks in when the criticism is too late to be constructive, whatever the intent. Not all criticisms are intended in a negative fashion, and even when they are then more often than not they are not trolling, but merely complaints. My comments about Cthulhu were in hopes that there was time to get the figure that I wanted rather than the one displayed. They were intended to be constructive. Because the figure had already been committed it was too late for the comment to be taken as anything other than a complaint. However, I am very glad that I had a chance to see the figure before hand - while I was disappointed by what I saw, at least I was able to get my order adjusted. I would have been much more disappointed had the figure shown up in my mail as a fait accompli. I might well have been angry rather than disappointed. The Big C was one of the figures that I was most looking forward to. I am very glad that Reaper is making the effort to show what is being done, and announcing changes, such as the elves, in time for adjustments to be made, at least at the moment. Thanks Reaper Blokes! Your efforts are appreciated! The Auld Grump

cmorse
A problem kicks in when the criticism is too late to be constructive, whatever the intent. I don't think to late to be constructive would apply very often. Even if the model is done the thoughts and ideas people have about it can be useful for future works. Its only too late if the artist never plans to sculpt again. I would also like to take a moment to curse whoever first wrote "ventral seam". It somehow managed to get twisted into venereal seam in my mind while looking at the picture....
