Otherworld Indiegogo Campaign

Recommended Posts

Still waiting on all of mine (level 7).

Ouch.

The only thing I'd suggest is for you to email Richard. Try not to be negative, write it as more of a reminder to him that you're still waiting for your level 7 rewards. Then wait... And likely wait some more...

Good luck!

I would add to this suggestion for anyone still waiting

Make sure to list your real name and if not the same your indiegogo name and your forum name if you post on OW forum.

A few times people were mentioning items or making inquiries on the OW forum and it was realized that with three names involved it was possible Richard was not sure who each of them really were.

Restate you address just to make sure Richard has it even if it has not changed.

And last if you are one of the backers waiting for the rest of your stuff because you did get something sent to you, be sure to list what you got and what you are still waiting for.

And to repeat "Try not to be negative, write it as more of a reminder to him that you're still waiting"  I know how hard it is but any negativity IMO will just not get you anything.

The above is all just IMO.

All good suggestions, agree wholeheartedly.

Email trail...

May - got response within a day or two indicating stuff would be sent at the end of the week

June - got response a couple of weeks later indicating stuff would be sent in the next couple of days

Sept - no response

Nov - no response

Dec (two weeks ago) - no response

I use my real name, and email messages have been very polite.   Have provided address information twice at least.   Customer service just ain't his thing...

I went through the exact same lack of responses and false promises. I still am as I haven't heard anything about the sets I was missing.

Just keep plugging away and keep posting, politely, on the Indigogo project page. Believe me, I know how frustrating that is to do without getting any acknowledgement back.

Keep us informed.

I was missing the Wizard cart from my package, but I decided I'd let it go. I thought a message to Richard asking for a replacement (requiring him to find more money in what's clearly a pretty desperate situation), would be doing nobody any favours.

Yep. As I said earlier, I'd rather see him fill pledge rewards for folks who haven't received anything yet, or have only received a small portion of it, than spending time and money on the few things I'm still owed.

I still think he should be made aware when things are missing though.

Well it's been a few weeks and I was just wondering if Dropbear or any other backers here still waiting have seen any progress on getting their pledge rewards.

Such a shame. The Barrowmaze minis all went out (and I did not back the project for them because I didn't trust that they would ever come)  and are for sale but this is still hanging out there...

I am still waiting for the second half of my pledge rewards to be sent.  Monday, onthe Otherworld website, Richard wrote that the he was waiting on Griffin Moulds to finish up the remaining orders.

They claim they will be shipping mine tomorrow.

I will believe it when I hold them in my hands.

      Andowyn Thrushmoor!
It's been awhile since I've painted a plain ol' character miniature. I spent the better part of today working on her and I’m overall pleased with how she came out. I really want to double my skill level by the time Bones V is delivered and I’m proud of my progress! Slowly but surely figuring out how to do faces, this one looks pretty okay, though her right eye is funky.

Since this is my first form post, the picture is her next to my first miniature! It's about four years old and I keep it around the rest of my collection in a place of honor

If anybody here loves cavern terrain and missed DF's first cavern KS KS2, this spring/summer around June DF will have KS6. The theme of KS6 will be Return to the Caverns and should be great fun for those who took part in KS2 or those who are new to DF.

DF had this to say and showed the below teaser pics

We're doing for Caverns what Dungeon of Doom did for Dungeons. A whole new batch of fun pieces to enhance your existing collection, but also completely stand-alone.

      Some of the key features:
New Core Shapes (diagonal wall, convex curves, 1" pieces, etc)
      Passages
Elevation (with stuff that's impossible on graph paper...)
Negative Space pieces (and new Terrain Trays)
      Flashy Pieces (Magnets & LEDs)
      Large pieces (4x4 and larger)

This looks like a very interesting board game with lots of new, fresh ideas and cool artwork (and nice minis - there is even a pledge level for just the minis: around 15 of them for $20 plus shipping):

      About this project

It's a harsh but lucrative business being a mercenary out on the edge of civilization. You must explore the harsh wilderness and engage in deep tactical combat, where the decisions you make have an impact not only on your own character, but also the world around you.

Gloomhaven is cooperative game of card-driven combat set in a persistent fantasy campaign which will change and grow as you play the game.
There is always more to unlock and explore in the world of Gloomhaven.

If you missed the first Gloomhaven Kickstarter (and retail sold out quickly) here is your chance. I backed that game the first time around and could not be happier with the results. Warning ... that box is heavy ...
