Strangely, this was much more tempting when it was $30 for six characters. Now there are so many I'd want them all if I got any. I'm not ready to drop the cash for all them though. RESIST!

 

Yeah, I'm kinda feeling the same. From what I can tell there are no Kickstarter exclusives so I'm happy to pick these up at a later date, even if it costs more as I can't really justify the lot right now.

Finally caved in. My daughter saw the ponies when I was showing them to my wife. She is totally excited to get them and sit down and learn to paint with daddy. Will be some perfect daddy/daughter time this winter.

 

Of course I had to get a few for myself. And my brother. We both loved that cartoon as kids.

 

If a KS makes anthropomorphized cars and trucks, I am totally screwed, because then my son will want in. Ka-Chow!

Also after much back and forth on these I finally decided to give in a become a backer. I hope the sculpts look as great as the artwork does. Can't wait to see them finished.

I'm a little confused. Can someone please explain the Boss Monster level? That's one of EVERYTHING? Treasure Chests, Ponies, etc?

Boss monster is 42 of any of the unlocked types ones plus 1 of every type 2 mini. No chests, tiles, or anything else. And with 42, you'll miss a few of the type ones.

I don't think treasure chests. If you want that, aim for Kingmaker. The chests, I believe, are like $40 by themselves.

Ok- I think I get it. As the figs get unlocked, it adds $ to the boss monster+$ to get one of each. For an extra 55 at this,point, you get dice, chests and 21 extra figs. Seems like a no brainer if you're going $200 anyway.

Well we finished with a fantastic $105, 099 with the last unlock coming seconds before the end

 

Unlocking the Tengu, Djiin, Sahaugin, Flesh Golem, Gargoyle and Flying Pig, and Chimera on the last day)

 

(flying pig will come with aviator helmet, goggles and jetpack)

 

Impact have also said the the Pumpkinhead figure we did not reach will be made and available to order (for extra cash) when we make our picks, as well as a boar (so we can make a flying boar too).

 

They've also decided to continue the buy 4 get 1 free that was operating during the KS for folk wanting to add extras (yay!)

 

The plan is to get all the sculpting done before we choose our minis early next year

 

 

Also interesting to note how popular the Pony level was for backers (17% of the total, not including folk like me who started there and upgraded for more stuff)
