ObsidianCrane
Well I am done and it all worked fine for me. Kit - for next time it would be easier to understand if the Optional Extras were seperated from the Extra Sets rather than all mixed together. The Extra Sets being the ones already included in the Vampire pledge that people could buy more of if they wanted to do so, while the Optional Extras are the ones we had to spend money to get any copies of at all. Even putting this in that "Item Description" field would have helped a lot.
Torolf
Just trying out the RPM, and I noticed that my credit doesn't match my pledge. It's off by $29.00. I understand that 25 is probably for Sophie, with the option to trade her in for more stuff, but what happened to the other $4.00?
kodiakbear
Not singling you out, but I'll take the opportunity to say this: IE doesn't work with the pledge manager, and it's not going to be fixed. Try Chrome or Firefox. Wow kit Way to pretty much give the finger to customers who use IE You may not have the time to waste to fix the pledge manager to work with IE but a sorry would be nice for the guys or gals who have to waste their time installing Chrome or Firefox to get your manager to work. My apologies if my tone was too brusque. I was juggling the launch of a new system, answering technical questions, sending out mass emails, and last-minute patching. I'm sorry I'm not going to have the chance to get this to work in IE right now. Maybe for the next time around when I have more time to refine. My apologies for my brusque tone also.
cloudshaper2k
I'm locked in and I managed to puzzle my way through the add-ons with the help of the KS page. I did have a suggestion for next time. Using the 'Item Description' field to indicate the difference between the add-ons and the extra sets would clear up some of the confusion for the users. For some reason, Firefox was cutting off the total box on the right and not putting in a scroll bar. However, scrolling back up to the top of the page made the bottom scroll bar reappear and allowed me to see the totals. Kit, thank you for all your hard work on this! Enjoy your long overdue dose of vitamin D this weekend!
Super Administrators kit Posted September 29, 2012 Author Super Administrators Share Posted September 29, 2012 Just trying out the RPM, and I noticed that my credit doesn't match my pledge. My suggestion would be to hit the reset button and try again.

I fear that this will cause extra confusion ("I ordered vampire! Why aren't these added into my pledge already!?"), but I'll consider it. Hrm. How about something at the top of the screen like:(v) indicates that it is already included in the vampire level, but you can purchase additional sets below. Then you just add little (v)'s or whatever to product descriptions the additional sets. Not this time around! Something for the next time you're shanghaied assigned a insane job like this.

Hopefully they're keeping you fed and caffeinated!
Jen
Just trying out the RPM, and I noticed that my credit doesn't match my pledge. It's off by $29.00. Ditto, though mine is off by $99 at the start, before messing with any options. I tried reloading and it did not help. Already sent an e-mail a little earlier. ferret
I suggest it might be worthwhile to send out a general KS update letting people know the pledge manager will not work properly with IE9 and providing links to the Crome and Foxfire download sites. It would avoid people trying to use the Pledge Manager, finding there is a problem, getting out of the PM, checking the forums for the answer, downloading (or loading) the non-IE9 broswer, then going back to the PM. Be a lot easier if they know to start Foxfire or Chrome before going into the PM
MiniCannuck
I just got my pledge form done. I found that it was easy enough to do as long as you have the Kickstarter page open at the same time. Great job Kit! Now... where are my minis!!!! Furongian
Got it done, easy peasy! My only difficulty was trying to keep myself from going completely overboard with the add-ons. I think I showed admirable restraint and only went over my hard limit by $25, so my wife may not kill me dead after all . Now for the waiting, which Tom Petty tells us, 'is the hardest part.' Crusoe the Painter
IE is a broken browser. Only IE10 will even begin to truly support modern standards. So either you get the pledge manager now, or wait an extra month or two and get it with IE support. IE lost the browser war. MS just needs to break down and use Webkit under the hood.
Vorash
Another non-IE option is Opera. I used that and it worked fine.
