Maybe now the US/Canada pledgers and everyone else out in excitingotherplaces can unite in our annoyance at bottle suppliers. ... Only question I have is to ask if there is a way to go in and change how I asked for stuff to be shipped once it's locked, or is that a big old pain? If Sophie is the only thing coming in the first shipment I can switch mine to send all in March. Like I said, I am willing to wait, and am kind of glad that this leaves everyone in the same boat. Having one group get the paints early because of proximity kind of bothered me, even though I was a member of that group. Actually, with the KS paints being special limited to the KS-only paint colors, I'd actually suggest you get some more 'common' MSPs to practice with first. I have a confession to make. vejlin Posted October 4, 2012 Share Posted October 4, 2012 I'm an international pledger and apart from communicating the problems to us earlier I don't see anything Reaper could have done better. As others have pointed out, there's a misapprehension about what kickstarter is for some people. It's not a preorder system, it's not a preorder system it's a loan that you give Reaper and you have some hopes and expectations but no guarantees when you involve yourself in something like that. That being said, the shipping dates have (to my knowledge) always been presented as "planned", indicating that changes could occur. That's all well and good and I understand that people are disappointed when plans change, but reaper has offered to reverse the pledges for people who are unhappy. What else are they supposed to do? Magically conjure up more product to ship out? This is how I see it. We were offered a deal and we took it. Later when Reaper were forced to change that deal they offered to reverse the pledge. We have lost nothing in this. Nothing. Just take a step back, evaluate the new deal you are being offered and make a decision. Keep your money (lose nothing) or accept the new deal. I am accepting the new deal, and to be honest I don't mind one bit. Now that we have almost all of the Reaper Pledge Manager responses in we have been able to finalize our production and shipping schedules. At this time we expect to begin shipping Crown Jewels, Sophies (both kinds), T-shirts and hats starting at the end of October. These shipments are to both domestic and international backers. Because of serious supplier delays concerning paint bottles we will be including the paint when we ship the Bones models to everyone (domestic and international) in March. We sincerely apologize for this delay and appreciate your patience and understanding as we work through these unexpected issues. We are on track to begin shipping all Bones sets, paints sets and figure cases in March and at this time are not aware of any issue that will delay those shipments. Hi Brian, just curious as to whether the Sophie's were being sent out automatically to international customers in October or if we need to make some kind of change if we want that to happen? I locked in my pledge soon after I received the email and that was while we still just had the option for everything to ship at once. Getting Sophie earlier would be nice, but I'm quite happy for her to arrive with the others and let Reaper save a little on the shipping.
