Corporea
You don't dump Sophie. Sophie dumps you. In Soviet Reaper . . . hey! Sophie is never late to party! Think of the muscle on that bike...
Jordan Peacock
It was with some regret that I traded in my Biker Sophie. I mean, when the Kickstarter first started, I was mostly looking at some of the fantasy figures and trying to sort out how I could modify a few to work with non-traditional fantasy settings (modern horror, Weird West/Deadlands, steampunk-fantasy, etc.), and at the very least I could just leave the wings off Sophie and have a biker. (Granted, a biker who can't leave her bike, which rather limits the utility for roleplay, but perhaps I could find another model similarly attired for "Standing Biker Sophie" with luck.) But ... $25 worth of trade-in? At that point, I had to consider: Would I pay $25 for this figure? Honestly? Not really. Especially not when that $25 of options goes a LONG WAY in this Kickstarter. Some day, the Kickstarter Sophie might be a rare collector's item, etc., etc., but I've never had the skill to cash in on "collectors' items" anyway -- and I doubt it would still have that status after I'd inevitably painted it at some point. "Kickstarter Sophie" is the sort of figure that, if I could get it on the cheap, I would find a use for in my games, no matter how weird the model, just for the sheer novelty of it -- but compared to options such as Nethyrmaul or a figure case complete with foam liners, I just couldn't justify it. Zelkon
Hmm... Sophie or giant skeletal dragon, cuthulu, and an extra fire it up? Not a hard choice.
Qwyksilver
Both. Naturally.
Heisler
Hmm... Sophie or giant skeletal dragon, cuthulu, and an extra fire it up? Not a hard choice. Not a hard choice at all, sophie all the way. I have no use for those other things.
Pole
You can have my Sophie when you pry it from my cold dead fingers! I will eat bread and cheese to get the extra Bones I want
ub3r_n3rd
There wasn't even a thought about holding onto her for that $25 credit! I traded her in as fast as I could to get more BONES!!
Atramagus
I traded her in for both sets. No real gaming use, and so many other, fun minis... I ended up getting at least one of every optional mini except for the Jabberwock, Nethyrmaul, and the deep dwellers. Multiples of some of the others. So... many.. minis... recruittons
So, after having the beautiful and talented Kit reset my pledge, one of my Sophies has been magically transformed into a set of MSP paints! These will be my very first high quality miniatures paints and I couldn't be happier.
dariustad
I still think Sophie riding a dire boar would have been a better version of the Kickstarter "Sophie riding a hog...." I can work a succubus on a dire boar into anything to make my players run in fear....

themudhead
The only thing I'm getting are the metal Sophies. Some of us don't want plastic in our collections. And, yes, they will go on the self and into my games. Fair warning "Twighlight Demons" (You know who you are). Also, those Sophies are already past the "Martin paint examples" stage. PS., Sounds like there will be extras lying around. So here's hoping I see a couple in the melt bin at next years Reapercon.

Unlikely; the people that kept theirs in their pledge probably won't dump them. But, I've seen stranger things show up at the melt table in the past, so you never know. ~v
