Maredudd
A quick look around this afternoon found me in Staples where I picked up some Mounting Putty. I'll give that a go when L2PK1 comes in later this week. If it doesn't work well enough, there is a Home Depot in Orlando that carries Museum Putty that I'll hit up. hungerfan
Well I finally got Step 2 done. Been too tired in the evening after staring at a monitor coding all day and the weekends are not working for painting. Tonight I felt like I could get something done so I attempted Step 2 and had to redo a bit when I messed up on some of it. Looking at the pic I can tell I will need to work on the control of the brush in tight places or I am going to be repainting things all the time. :)
ShadowRaven
not to worry, you will be repainting things all the time, It is inevitable, but as skill grows, 'all the time' will become less and less. Still, paint has a magic way of jumping on to the mini in the oddest of places
Mistimp
So I ordered L2PK1. Not for me, but for my daughter, who caught the bug after watching me paint T'Raukzul for months. Here she is priming her rat. The poster tac I picked up sucks, and my rubber cement was all dried out. Will have to go get some more later today, so she can have a handle.

Still, paint has a magic way of jumping on to the mini in the oddest of places I have painted, if we count my early jobs, somewhere around 2000 minis. I still smeared brown ink all over the minotaur's leg and had to redo it. I don't even know how, his leg wasn't anywhere near where I was working. Paintergeists.
CashWiley
Just base coating the pirate king today, had to repaint the 3 gold spots I had slopped black on, some flesh around the eyebrows and the flesh I had slopped gold on. Just cleaning up after my first session last week...and I had done a round of clean-up at the end of that session, this is just what I missed! Then I set up the flesh around the eyes so I could paint them, because I always need to do a little (and sometimes a LOT) of cleaning around the eyes once I got them looking human(ish). And then cleaning that up some more. And I still missed some. Don't feel bad :)

Talae
I got my notification that my BONES are headed my way, today. That means, if I am lucky, I will have them by the 3rd (I would think). This has caused me to try and power through as many of the LTPK minis as I can (without rushing the art of it, too much). Wish me luck.

MiniPainterC
This is my first WIP that I have posted. I have been painting a while but I am still a novice. Here are the miniatures primed with Krylon paint + primer Anhurian Swordsmen with base coat of Tanned Skin. Washed with Intense Brown.

MiniPainterC
Here is the base coat on the barrow rat. I noticed that I got a little crazy and painted a bit of the skin on the leg. I will try to fix this later when i paint the legs.
buglips*the*goblin
That Krylon spray looks like it gave them a nice coat. It's similar to what I got from the old pro paint brush on I used for my kits way back when. Toothy. It looks nice and toothy.
