Qwyksilver 16622 Report post Posted October 18, 2012 It's not quite a wishlist, but you can add items to your cart when you're logged into the store and they stay there. It's a good way to tag things until you cross the free shipping threshold. Really? Mine vanished the next day. Were you signed into the store when you made the list? Its a different login than the forums. I've done it before. I have a wish list I've been running for at least 3 months now.
Shakandara 2260 Report post Posted October 18, 2012 Yeah, like Mike said, if you do it while you are signed it, it sticks, afaik forever. I'm working on a list that started shortly post-Rcon this year, and it's still there. ~v
Adrift 9138 Report post Posted October 18, 2012 How did I manage so long without 8 of these for my dungeoncrawl? http://www.reapermini.com/Miniatures/Dark%20Heaven%20Legends/sku-up/03030 I almost put him up too. There's a lot of potential there.
Vorash 1 Report post Posted October 18, 2012 Another weird mini you can probably only find on Reaper, is this guy, which immediately reminds me of Super Metroid's Mother Brain. This guy is practically just begging for a conversion. Also, some of the Bathalians can be summed up thusly: Cthulhu Hydralisks. Simply awesome. buglips*the*goblin 91970 Report post Posted October 18, 2012 How did I manage so long without 8 of these for my dungeoncrawl? http://www.reapermin...ds/sku-up/03030 I almost put him up too. There's a lot of potential there. Ah, Toadman with Headbasket! He lurks in my drawers. My storage drawers, wise guy. He also illustrates one of the weird things I find with some sculptors - a smallish portion of the Jason Wiebe minis I avoid because of (IMO) over-exaggeration of anatomy or weapons. Thats why I didn't care much for the Ogre Chieftan, even if he grew on me afterwards (and I still think his back musculature looks weird). Or the Bones minotaur (02964 Cretus, Minotaur in metal), or most especially this guy: http://www.reapermini.com/OnlineStore/jason%20wiebe/sku-down/65139 That's a taste thing, and doesn't mean my taste is better or even good. Just different. But all of these I think are excellent: http://www.reapermini.com/OnlineStore/jason%20wiebe/sku-down/02599 http://www.reapermini.com/OnlineStore/jason%20wiebe/sku-down/02579 http://www.reapermini.com/OnlineStore/jason%20wiebe/sku-down/02818 http://www.reapermini.com/OnlineStore/jason%20wiebe/sku-down/02770 (and many others) And it's weird (though I do notice I tend to like his early stuff better than the later, in general) because if it wasn't for the sculptor's name being listed I'd swear the ones I like and the ones I don't are done by totally different people. And it's twice as weird because even though it means a sculptor whose stuff I like puts out some I don't (which I'm not used to, because Dennis Mize and Sandra Garrity and Julie Guthrie have seldom - possibly never - made a mini I didn't like), I can't necessarily say that's a bad thing. Jason's stretching his legs and pushing his limits, being creative. Smashing his own trademark style, even. And while sometimes that means I'm going to get a steroid-exploded giant . . . sometimes that means I'm going to get a seriously awesome cybermonkey . . . or Toadman with Headbasket.
CashWiley 34298 Report post Posted October 18, 2012 And lo, Buglips did say to the masses, "And while sometimes that means I'm going to get a steroid-exploded giant . . . sometimes that means I'm going to get a seriously awesome cybermonkey . . . or Toadman with Headbasket." And it was good.
