I'm in the swamplands of FL, so drying out shouldn't be an issue for me...
Don't count on it CD. The air conditioning can make things dry out faster, so play around and see.

The very air is a breathable wet palette of humidic horror.

Isn't that how air is supposed to be? I'm from Florida myself. I get nose bleeds if I go to other states, with their wimpy air. Air should have WEIGHT. You should walk out side and feel it smothering you like a warm, wet blanket.

I hate feeling like I'm literally swimming through the air in a humid environment and feeling like I need gills to breathe with. For me living a mile or more above sea level is perfect, you know you are breathing because you have to work for every lungful. ::D:

I live in a surprisingly humid climate for being northerly. Before I got my super-excellent and efficient dehumidifier, which in August pulls out something like 8 litres of water per 24 hours from the air, I actually had bookshelves explode from the plumping books.

Humidity like that is the closest I ever want to come to having a bath.

My region is confusing as heck. Summer time: low humidity with temps reaching 110-120 F. Winter: Temps reaching 5-10 F with snow storms. Autumn and Spring: Way too much rain.

The eastern side of Washington state is bonkers. Evergreen state my tuchus, over here is an arid steppe! Sage brush, tumbleweeds, and everything.
