One thing people may have missed is Ed is planning a special thank you surprise for everyone. He is talking about another flying alien type he may throw in after it is all over and done with.

 

30k and the Stealth warriors are a little over $100 away! We will hit 36k for sure!

And he keeps talking about sending extra bits, making more than he thinks, all kinds of stuff. Reading over at the Troll Forged forums, apparently he is notorious for this. People get all sorts of new bits, extra heads, weapons, bases, etc that he throws into their orders because he loves what he does and he loves his customers even more. This is probably the most important thing to take away from this. Ed does this because he loves doing it. Can't get much better than that!

No, unfortunately not. I was looking for that guy myself, but it doesn't seem to be in the store. I wonder if it's been taken down for some reason? Maybe the sculptor requested it be taken down or maybe they sold the rights to another company or something.

Hmmm this sculptor had his WIP in the sculpting section here I think. I had been searching for it myself but I figured I had the wrong company or something.... I am going to have to ask about it. I really would like to get one or two. Ed did say we can add stuff from the store to our pledge if I remember right. I would love to add that mini on.

• Stealth Swarm Adults unlocked - $4 add-on
  
• Host gets Fiend
  
• Swarm gets 5 Swarm Warriors
  
• Queen gets 5 Stealth Swarm
  
• The queen model goes down to $12 add-on price (from $15)
  
• Heavy weapon alien hunter unlocked - $3 add-on
  
• You can now pledge $45 to get 2 dreadnoughts. This includes all arm weapons.
  

So there you have it! Things are progressing quickly!

I have no idea what I would use these for, and Ive been trying to keep a tight reign on my spending... and yet theres still something about this one that is really, really tempting. If it reaches $36k with a stealth warrior added to Host level that could easily put me over the edge. (If I havent cracked already)

You know you are allowed to swap minis out to get ones you want, right? So you could for example trade in two of the Swarm adults ($2) from a Host pledge to get a Stealth swarm adult ($4) right now, even if we never reach $36K. And when we reach $33K, you could trade in other stuff to get a Larva swarm for $5...

I had forgotten that, actually, but not getting them wasnt really my problem... Im just balancing my budget vs the cost. Plus Im the obsessive type with things like this, where I like to have a full spreadsheet and know all the exact details before I decide.

 

Now I have to go back and find the details of trading.
