Heisler
I'm not burned out as such as I'm just waiting for some of the ones I backed to get to the delivery stage. I want something physical in my hands for a change and I have found I'm cruising eBay more than I have in a long time because of it.
Shakandara
Oy. ^^^ This is totally true, especially now that the Demons and Devils one closed. That 2 substantial packages of minis I will have to wait until March for, and I'm jonesing for something NOW. Fortunately, I think my DeepWars stuff should be on its way soon, so that might help mollify me for a bit. ~v
recruittons
I've received about 4 (almost 5!) project rewards that I've back thus far, so I'm pretty happy about that. Well, except my V20 companion book. That thing was a pretty disappointing $50. Very much not the same quality as my V20 deluxe edition; however, I managed to sell it on eBay for 3 times what I paid for it, so there's that! Most of my stuff has been board games and a few video games, but I have, in hand, Shadows of Esteren (the first and only project I've backed that hit the delivery estimate - also happens to be run by the guy doing the Hell on Earth KS), Curse the Darkness, Kill the Overlord! which is my favorite thus far, and my V20 companion, which I've already flipped for profit (most of which went into the Reaper KS ) The almost 5th one is Dungeon World, which I've received a PDF for, but the physical copy is still a little ways out. I'm not even burned out at all. I'm just really not happy that all of these awesome campaigns are clustered so close together! Ebay has been getting a lot more of my stuff lately
Nocturne
My copy of Trial of the Clonesby SMBC's Zach Weiner arrived today so I've had a little kickstarter fix today... Still want some minis though.
Heisler
Sedition Wars was the first one I backed, I think we are still a couple of months off from that. Of course nobody (except Reaper) is really providing any updates at this point either which is even more frustrating.
ced1106
I'm spending about $100 on additional paint supplies, including one or two Learn to Paint Kits and terrain. I'm not too happy not receiving the paints this month BUT the LTPK's are more than $30 below MSRP ($10+ for two metal mini's, $20+ for two sable brushes, $25+ for eight paints) and I personally like the "how to paint a specific miniature" instructions. That doesn't really leave much money for other miniature KS, especially when I have 550+ unpainted miniatures not including the Reaper KS ones. BTW, If you're new and expect to learn how to paint only from the KS mini's and paints... don't. Learn To Paint Kit 1 is back in stock. All paints are in eyedroppers, despite the product picture. There is SOME duplication between the LTPK paints and the KS paints, but two paints that only differ in shade is useful when you want to paint highlights or shadows. EDIT: AND ANOTHER TEN BUCKS on the Dark Elf triad! :P It's been my intention to paint up the Legend of Drizzt D&D figures, anyway. Thanks to LTPK2 for tips to highlight and shadow flesh because I sure can't use Quickshade Ink on dark elves! Also, if you ordered the Jabberwock (or black dragon), you can use 'em: http://evilbobs.blogspot.com/2011/11/third-batch-of-reaper-miniatures.html
Moderator Darsc Zacal Posted October 17, 2012 Moderator Share Posted October 17, 2012 Since we seem to be sharing... I've backed 11 projects on kickstarter with only one of those still currently active (Medieval Village). Of the rest, I've received my complete rewards from one(Unique Dice Towers-great stuff. Heartily recommend them) and the first partial shipment from two others(Zombicide and Mantic- both delivered as promised). Of the seven remaining, all appear on track to meet their estimated delivery dates except for one, a graphic novel which has been delayed a couple months at least. I expect the real burnout... Well, lets call it reality... to hit in early spring when several of the kickstarters featuring minis, including Reapers, are expected to ship. Getting that many minis delivered so close together is sure to hit me like a slap in the face with a trout while jumping into a cold shower while holding a small electrical appliance. dariustad
Trout slap? Someone's showing their IRC age a little.
Caffiene
There is SOME duplication between the LTPK paints and the KS paints I was just looking at that yesterday... To be specific: If I counted right, 12 of the 24 "non-new" KS paints (sets 1 and 3) are also found in the LTP kits. Well, 11 and sealer. If you were to get all of the LTP kits and sets 1 & 3 of the KS paints, you'd end up with a total of 28 extra bottles of stuff you already had. JoeGKushner
I'm not suffering burn-out, I'm suffering cash out. Oy! If I had more money there are plenty of KS I'd support.
Gailbraithe
I'm going to be receiving in the neighborhood of 413 miniatures over the next few months. That's insane. So yeah, I am totally burnt-out. I will never be able to keep up with what I've bought, let alone buying more.
Girot
Bah! I found a new project that totally trumps Kickstarters for the foreseeable future.

captenglish
I am not burned out on KS, just bad timing as far as I am concerned with the holidays and all. I only backed the Bombshell Babes KS, because I missed the Reaper KS (don't worry Reaper will plenty of what little expendable $$$ I have), but I am keeping my eyes open to other projects. sumbloke
Just noticed I'm on 144 projects backed :) I've been on Kickstarter since the middle of last year. Got rewards from several projects, waiting on several others (only got one of the first four I backed for example) and there are a few that have failed to fund. My pie chart is almost filled... just looking for a Dance project to back. Reaper's was the highest total I dropped on one project (if you include the extra from the pledge manager), but I have put in large amounts for a few others.
