At the moment, Lidberg is unemployed and working as a substitute teacher. He's attending cons and selling Superfogeys merch.

 

I don't see him fulfilling much of anything anytime soon.

Email sent to Gene. While I appreciate his offer, I personally would like to have the project creator responsible for the kickstarters fulfilment pay his own debt.

I must admit I feel the same way! 

I really appreciate Gene's offer.... but despite liking the figures I don't want anyone (who probably has not been paid for his part in the project) having to assume someone elses debt!

Gene, you are awesome.  I truly appreciate your offer, but I am not willing to let Paul off the hook for his responsibility, not at your expense.  You followed through on your expectations as the sculptor for this project and delivered some great miniatures.

 

The frustrating part is that the minis are done, and the Comic Collection is done, which are the only two things I wanted from the project.

I don't even have a horse in this race, but I have to say that I'm very impressed by your work and your offer to backers, Gene.  I need to look if you have your own line.  If so, I will definitely throw some support your way simply because of this.  Not to mention that I love the stuff you've done for Reaper.

You are indeed very awesome to make that offer Gene! I find myself in the same boat as everyone else - I would like to have the figures, but not at someone else's expense. I will hold out hope that if the project creator can get his life stuff sorted, one day it'll happen.

I still check that KS weekly to see if anything has been said.  The backers have even pretty much given up complaining n that one.

I decided a long time ago not to waste my mental energy worrying about that one anymore. I check it every 6 months or so just on the off chance that the project creator reappeared. I wasn't in it for any huge amount but I would have liked to have the dice. Edited September 16, 2014 by Erifnogard
