To anyone else here who backed this project.

 

Are any of you concerned that two months have passed since the day this kickstarter was funded and the surveys have yet to be sent out?

 

 

I put a query to the project creator over two weeks ago on the kickstarters comments section. The reply posted was that he was hoping to have the surveys sent out that weekend. Surveys still haven't been sent and the project creator hasn't commented since.

According to the latest update, the project creator was at Reaper today getting all the minis cast, so that's some very good news.

 

Unfortunately there has still been no mention made regarding the artwork levels that folks pledged for.

Resurrecting this thread.  Over a year later with nothing to show for it.  No communication and flat out lies from the creator when he does speak.

Sorry Darsc. This one just really bugs me. It's the third KS I ever partipated in and pretty much forgot about it for awhile. First world problem for sure, but I want this over with, one way or another. 

I'm awfully patient with these things, but I just can't stand being lied to.  Hate it. If you used my money to buy drugs or hookers, just say so. Don't tell us the packages are going out and then .... nothing.

 

The really unbelieveable part is I have bought from Team Frog and would have totally done so again before Paul decided to treat me like a child. Why would someone destroy their reputation like this?

And really, he's ruining a reputation over a very small amount of money. It's not like he raised $100k and is having troubles with over spending. This is $4700, and it looks like the minis are ready. If he had to, it seems like he could work that off and get the product made.

Doug, everytime I think of this kickstarter I think of your warnings and wish that I had listened to you.

I was really hoping that your bad experience was a one time thing, but obviously it was just part of a pattern of bad behaviour.

 

Super Fogeys and Otherworld are the two most frustrating kickstarters I've backed.

 

EDIT: and literally the moment I posted this, I received an update from Paul about the Kickstarter.

Granted, the update just states that there will be an update tomorrow.

I know that Paul has followed this thread in the past, so I wouldnt be surprised if the recent posts here are the cause.

 

Curious to see what's said tomorrow.
