I stated my point on Team Frog's Facebook page. He apologized, and promised not only to refund my money, but to send the minis as well.

Since then, my account has not been credited with any refunds. Perhaps he means to include a check when he sends the minis.

Then again, this is the third time he has promised to send minis. I find my faith fading. This really is a hell of a thing. Even Black Tree Designs corrected their screwups when I called them out on it the first time.

Yeah, well, I notice that the kudos I posted for his willingness to handle the FIRST screwed up order remained on the page.

My comment griping about his failure to handle the SECOND screwed up order, on the other hand, is gone.

 

I'd kind of wondered about his failure to handle the KS, when I heard about it here; he had Superfogeys merchandise and miniatures at Reapercon. Why didn't the KS contributors get handled first?

He had them at Reapercon?  Sunofa!

 

Yup. Thought about buying a few, but wasn't in the market for yet another minis game after dealing with the fellow from Frontline Games...

UPDATE: This past weekend, Paul apologized again, and said that he would send the order AND refund the money. He claimed that the refund had gone through on Sunday night, and showed a copy of the receipt on Facebook. He has since deleted the post containing this information.

Regrettably, my bank has not had any updates, and the money remains somewhere other than my bank account. Either they're taking a long time... or some sort of error has occurred... or Paul's falsified the receipt. Meanwhile, I wait to see if third time's the charm.

The general rule of thumb is to give it up to 3 business days to show up.

And what's the rule of thumb for how long one has to wait for a promised "next day" update?

 

Cause right now we're at 6 days and counting.

 

Generally until the next day I would think.

 

Regarding the 3 days I was talking about how long it can take the bank to process the transation on the recieving end.

It's amazing how the banking/credit card industry has managed to build computer systems that can instantaneously transfer money from your bank account to their's. We truly live in a hi-tech world.

 

Someday, they may even be able to build a system that can transfer money from their account back to your's just as quickly.  :devil:
