We have finally unlocked the mighty Nautiloid Chrysalid, a devastating model for the Dark Mariners. This one will be very large, likely with a shell 40-50mm in diameter and tentacles taking it out to 70mm in length or so. It is worth 3 smal

l minis (30mm base) in trade or can be added for $25. Now lets go and unlock the next few!

The naulitoids are a race of sentient molluscan beings, similar to the smaller chambered molluscs swimming in the seas. These diabolical creatures have extraordinary natural psychic abilities and were sought out by the elder race of the Shadow Sea for genetic experiments, which eventually led to the creation of the Dark Mariners. Some pureblood nautiloids still exist and are a feared enemy, though not the most trustworthy of creatures and will flee when the tide of battle turns.

Last couple of days. The Clal-Chk warrior is unlocked but there are still a bunch of minis that are within stricking range. The sunken bio-sub is out a bit, but would be an amazing piece of terrain if made.

Eric, is there anything else from the first KS that hasn't been released yet, model or terrain wise? And if so, is it possible to get those items in as options for this one? Anything to get people to drive up their pledges... ;)

 

EDIT: To clarify, I mean attained, but not finished in the production process.

Sadly I had to reign in my pledge some. It was hard to just pick a few things from this kickstarter but, unfortunately, that's just how life goes. I'm glad to see Deepwars doing well and I wouldn't be surprised to see it reach 20k.

If the heavy shows up, I'm down with it. I like the Dark Mariners and some of the 'neutral' stuff like the sea monsters, summoned monsters and 'elder' mechs.
